Songfile (lyrics.ch) Trails Off
dave256 writes: "I was recently wandering about looking for some lyrics and CD track listings, and going to my good old standby, lyrics.ch (and summarily suffering through the redirection to songfile), I noticed a notice:'On September 30, 2001, the International Lyrics Server website will be closed and all lyrics will be removed from the Songfile web site.
Thank you for your support, and we appreciate your past patronage.
Please direct any questions or inquiries regarding this change to lyrics@harryfox.com.' Who was this masked harryfox.com? Boy was I (not) surprised. I for one will miss the old beast."
The lyrics.ch site has survived some tough times before, so perhaps this isn't really its end.
when we have Cylob!
Catch that goblin!
You have a right to dwell in the past, but please do not inflict this insanity on others.
It's not Tuesday morning anymore. It's not Tuesday afternoon anymore. Thank God its not Thursday because I could never get the hang of Thursdays.

I never really understood the attraction of trolling. Why do it? Karma points to burn? Just like getting people worked up?
For the record, the use of such loaded terms as "stealing" and "piracy" to describe copyright violation doesn't help anyone. Let's move on from there, so that we can actually have rational, informed debate.
Yes. It was an awful horrible thing that happened in New York and Washington.
So: When will it be ok to talk about ordinary day-to-day things?
600= dead people? Who really gives a flying fuck?
More people than that died yesterday, too, and a whole hell of a lot of them died in similarly wasteful, horrid ways.
If I stopped to give a fuck everytime people died in a "senseless tragedy", I'd have run out of fucks a long time ago.
As soon as you morons realize that the parent post has been posted, repeatedly, for the past 3 weeks and is successful in trolling for morons posting moronic comments every...single...time.
According to some people.. never. Let's lament about death forever and never ever have fun or good times again!

Sorry. I don't read every comment in every story and this is the first time I've come across this post. I didn't know. Please forgive my moronity.
the scumbags change what we do!
If the terrorists leaders that commited those crimes on 11 September find out that they are the only topic of conversation on the internet, it will make them feel pleased.
Do everything you did before, or they have changed our lives for the worse. Think about music, software, freedom, s*x, movies and anything that makes you happy. There are 6,000 casualties in the WTC. You are not one so make sure that you NEVER give in to the filth that caused them!
I'll see your Constitution and raise you a Queen.

(c) 2001 Penis, released under the LGPL. Share the fun around!
P.S. To the censorship cabal: You cannot censor me. I know you hate me, I know that you block access for my accounts and my IP's, but guess what: You cannot censor me! The truth is always the truth, no matter how many database hacks you have on your side. If there is one thing you should have learned from 09.11 is that the higher the pedestal, the tougher the fall. Slashdot, prepare for the fall. Judgement day is not far. You have been warned.

shut up.
i wanted to get one in.
i don't see you getting one.
faggot.
The problem is that even though Americans are shocked and horrified, they haven't had their wakeup call yet. I guess it will take a bacteriological or nuclear disaster to open their eyes. :( It is truly sad that the only way to get through an American's thick skin is through horrible violence. Like it or not, but the American culture and society is a phenomenon in itself, equally apart from both European and Asian heritage. Truly, violence is as American as apple pie. It's also sad that the U.S. government tries to straightjacket American society into a European model of democracy -- this is why American society seems so schizophrenic at times. In a way, the American people are as oppressed as the worst of African colonial powers.

Change #7 to "Kill all Carpet Pilots". Having two camel-based slurs just isn't classy.
8 times more people than normal die in NYC and its the end of the world. There have been three day weekends in the last decade with more deaths in the area.
Step 9. Enjoy the ride to court to plead guilty to ABH, enjoy having the handcuffs put on you, and love it when your cellmate 'Bubba' wants to play 'Husband and Wife' with you.
I hope you realise that you have just publically admitted to a blatant violation of the DMCA. The black gunships are already on their way to collect you and bring you to justice.
What IS it with music stores and blaring music, anyway? I go the the malls and the CD shops always have something blasting away, and if I had a song in mind I'll probably have it blasted rightout of my head by whatever they're listening to (which I have about a 0.0000001% chance of buying because it's usually something awful), always seemed to me that blasting customers with music was counterproductive. Maybe why I by CD's at the Book/Music store. :)
A feeling of having made the same mistake before: Deja Foobar
Repeat steps 1-5 for every generation that forgets them.
As long as I live a will always remember the WTC.
And in my next life i shall have deja-vus about it.
I DON'T FORGET. NEVER WILL I FORGET.
People should definatelly get their priorities in an order first.
WTC? Whats that?
And what was that place in San Antonio called again?
So many names, hard to remember them all...
Here's the GPL Ballad. These lyrics are released under the GPL, copyright 2001.
