Newsflash: Mac Users Love Apple, Hate Microsoft

An anonymous reader writes "An article on wired.com talks about how Mac users helped Apple through the dark years of the 90s." It goes on to discuss how a psychologist was hired to figure out how to woo Mac users away from Apple, with some (to him) surprising results.

I doubt that, the first thing that gets installed on a Mac is an MS mouse, usually wheeled nowadays, second thing is MS Office, then often times some kind of Windows emulator is installed

    Yep that's hating Microsoft

And, doesn't Wired run (and Slashdot and MacSlash link) pretty much this same article every other week?

At least it's less creepy than the recent one about Mac users having sexual fantasies about their computers. (Which, in turn, was at least less creepy than the Salon article on the sex lives of Richard Stallman and other free software figures...)

Mac users hate microsoft until the need to browse the web, read email, open a doc file, or do just about anything else.

Not to be overly insulting, but...

If you're opening up the case for every problem you had/have with your PC, you either-

    1. Have a POS system.

    2. Don't know what you're doing.

    3. Are trying to exaggerate your experiences to sound impressive and puff up Apple's reputation.

Aside from removing a faulty video card (which was promptly replaced by Gateway), I have NEVER had to open my PC's case to fix a problem, over the course of 10 years, 3 systems, and 4 different OS's.

You sound like someone hired by Apple, frankly.
