Terminator 3: Rise Of The Machines

An anonymous reader writes "There is a new Quicktime Trailer avalible for Terminator 3 up and avalible to download. Features include shiny chrome, blue LED's a-plenty and a few seconds of a CGI'ed army of Terminators." Looks like a pretty fun movie.

      I know you're going to get modded down for being ot, troll or whatever, but I think you've got a damn good point. Does every damn crappy new movie need to get press on /.? Why do we have to fuel their fires?

      Seems to me that if we are really interesting in fighting the MPAA/RIAA, we should just boycott their crap and not give them any attention at all.

      You should get modded down as a troll. I'm not convinced you put any real thought into what you're saying. Let me point out a few things to you:

      a.) It's well known that most /. visitors love sci-fi and/or fantasy.
      b.) It's well known that every movie reviewed on /. fits into category A. By definition, this is not 'every damn crappy new movie'.
      c.) It's well known that it is common for Hollywood to make a highly anticipated movie, and turn it into a big steamy pile-o-poo(tm).
      d.) If a movie's bad, we'd like to know if it's worth avoiding.

      Why do you even care? It's not like this article took the place of a story like "Microsoft Destroyed in Earthquake". I guess what I'm really trying to say is "Quitcherbitchen and STFU." You can very easily filter out stories about movies.

      Thing is, I really don't care if I get modded down for being OT or a Troll. Throw me into negative numbers if people need to, my life won't change.

      I just see all these postings about the newest sci/fi movie and the next post is how or why we should boycott Hollywood. I just don't understand. In addition, there's not one but TWO articles this time.

      This is just my opinion, but I don't see promotion of a new movie as NEWS. I don't care what the FAQ's say, to *ME* it's not news. To me this is akin to someone posting how awesome the new software offering from Microsoft is. If people feel the need to slam me because of my opion, then by all means, fire away. It won't be the first time.
