Matrix Revolutions Trailer Released

aerojad writes "The new Matrix Revolutions trailer is now available for download (direct link) on the official site. If you have plugin/bandwidth issues, there are also BitTorrent links available. For those wondering, there is more to it than you saw at the end of Reloaded." In related news, an anonymous reader points to the BBC News report that: "The makers of the Matrix films are considering only promoting the third film, Matrix Revolutions, for next year's Oscars. Warners, which produced the films, had considered pushing for both of them to be nominated as a single entry because they were shot on the same 240-day shoot, but the academy refused."

    Before I spend the next hour attempting to download this trailer from both BitTorrent and WB. Can someone tell me if this is the same trailer as the one at the end of the Matrix: Reloaded? Thanks!

    I have a hard time keeping up with the /. collective's mood swings.

    Is the MPAA evil because it's part of the Evil Copyright Industry? Or is it cool because it's the source of the Matrix movies?

    Or, alternatively: Is it evil because it's the source of the Matrix movies?

    On a pokey 400MHz OS X box, BT is currently getting 155.3K downstream. Go ahread and do wget -c, I didnt' beat the rush. WB's site is timing out like a fucktard. Horray for BT.

    Yes. What a letdown. I was hoping for some new footage.
