The Jacobian seems to be defined as a ratio of the "space" inside to the unit space with the given number of dimensions.
As you approach an infinite number of dimensions, the size of the unit space tends toward infinity (in relative terms); the ratio of the hypersphere's volume to the unit space becomes infinitesimally small.
If it's truly an open source license, this is only good news--Linux and/or the BSDs will be able to use the best bits. If it's just a "shared source" head-fake like Microsoft has tried to pull with some of their stuff, well, then Sun will solidify their position as Grand Moff Tarkin to Microsoft's Vader.

Intermittent gcc errors are a classic symptom of a memory problem; gcc, entirely by accident, is one of the best memory testers around. I used to work for VA Linux, and parallel kernel compilations were a standard part of our pre-ship burn.

But the detection could be fooled more easily if the detection were at low levels.
Just think about the problems with biometric security.

Yes, the language that evolved in an essentially
smooth line from Perl 1.0 to Perl 5.8 is indeed
coming to the end of its active development and
entering the comfortable retirement of maintenance.
But Perl's creators and users aren't ready to
quit.

Cool, huh? I hope it's not nonsense.
"A power switch? That's illegal!"
And a followup: Could you put the Loki ports of your older games up for download, or at least make them available for purchase somewhere?
Then add '-H' to preserve hard links. (Why isn't -H part of -a? Oh well.)
I do wish I had editors that kept historical trees instead of a single undo chain, though.
I'm sorry. Of course I meant to write: "We welcome our new Solaris overlords."
Well, of course. That's what "and/or" means.
Hm, you're right. OK, s/Grand Moff Tarkin/Emperor Palpatine/. And don't give me any shit about Palpatine being a mild-mannered senator, OK? :-,

PS: potential employers, check out the low uid. :-)

OK, then, WB is evil for supporting the parasite. Or WB is good for producing the Matrix movies. I'm still confused, you see.
Is the MPAA evil because it's part of the Evil Copyright Industry? Or is it cool because it's the source of the Matrix movies?
Or, alternatively: Is it evil because it's the source of the Matrix movies?

I'd really be concerned if our spelling and math were slipping. Um, hold on a minute....

In an unrelated announcement, "Ogg Blank Reg" is their new encryption system.

That's why there's a Perl 6. :-)
