Israeli Ministry of Commerce Picks OO.org Over MS

CaptainT writes "According to this article in The Register Microsoft office was replaced by Open Office in the Israeli employment agency. MS scorns the defection... This follows current Israeli antitrust legislation and the recent release by IBM and Sun of Hebrew support in OpenOffice.org. Is the Israeli Defence Force going to follow?"

WHEW! I haven't seen so many retards bite. This debian troll is awesome! The kook mods and the kooks responding have no idea that this post is complete fiction. Very clever fiction. He's making jokes all along with the 'final solution' reference and people are all, "Are you sure you want to say that in the same sentence?!?" It was intentional...

And he makes these mods look like idiots by tying in ridiculous methods like 'LISP hooks'... ha-hah! The point of this is obviously to also make fun of all the people who brag about how apt-get is the answer for everything. That's a translation for all you fools.
    Good job, Debian Troll!

I choose to believe that there is no meaning of life, there is no fundamental right or wrong, love is only a biochemical reaction in the brain and that consciousness does not survive beyond death. Nothing I see or hear tells me anything else, so it would be irrational to think otherwise.

You're so close to be a materialist, except the question "meaning of life" might be loaded but its clear that spreading ones genes before one dies is pretty much it.

As for fundamental right and wrong, humans are well equiped (through the invisible hand of evolution) to understand when they've been cheated or victimized. This behavior is seen in most social mammals. No biggie.

Emotions are chemicals? Yep, does that make them any less 'real' or significant?

Death is certainly the end, as all attempts to prove otherwise have failed miserably.

Religion generally means that some facts/rules of human behaviour and so on are absolute and not to be questioned. For example, you won't find many christians that think God approves casual sex and use of abortion as birth control.

An atheist doesn't necessarily think that christians are stupid, he/she just doesn't share their beliefs. As for meaning of life, atheists follow their gut feeling, advice of other humans or desire to make people happy to decide how to live. It may lead him/her in the same direction as religious people or it might not. Anyhow I haven't met anyone who uses science to make significant moral decisions. Or who is actively proud of being an atheist rather than just not feeling necessity of religion in their world view.

I think you have just as many stereotypes about atheists as we have about christians. You should hang around more. You might find people who qualify for the best accomodations in your favourite afterlife. At least if they came to your chirch.
