Israel's Finance Ministry To Distribute OpenOffice
dudeman2 writes "Israel National News reports that The Israel Finance Ministry said Sunday it will begin distributing Open Office for free as of next week. The ministry said that it would begin to distribute thousands of Open Office CD-ROMs at public computer centers and later on at community centers throughout the country, 'in a bid to reduce the technological gap between the rich and poor in Israel'."

The Palestinian government asked for this wall. Their request was in the form of frequent unprovoked attacks by Palestian military operaties crossing the open land into Israel and attacking. If the Palestinian government would learn to stop attacking the Israelis, there would be no wall (and no occupation, something also made necessary by the constant Palestinian aggression).

In fact they occupied territories essentially since the beginning of Israel. To a large extent Israel is all occupied territory. There were always palestinians that lived there and then the jews show up and say "hey UN, could you make this land ours?" and the UN was like "yeah no prob, don't worry about the people already there though, just treat them like second class citizens." so the israeli jews did. You know the iraeli arabs have special license plates that denote that they are arab? these are people born and raised in israel. that sounds so fair to me.

Before we get too far into this Isrial-Palistine debate, let me point out to everyone that neither side has any claim whatsoever to the moral high ground.
Both sides have comited inhumain acts against the other in the name of their cause ('free palistine' and 'national security'). Both sides have too much blood on their hands, including the blood of more inocents than either side can count, to allow either side to make any claim about having some moral high ground to stand on.
The tit-for-tat that has gone on longer than any one can remember needs to stop. Both sides need to accept their history, including their collective deeds, and move forward. Until that happens, with both sides accepting responcibility for the the parts they played, I fear we will never see pease in the region.

Security and economic prosperity is reached throught being fair and not oppressing. The israel state cant even be fair to arabic israeli citizens with israeli passports because they are an appartheid state and doing ethnic cleansing which unfortunatly mainstream media in the west does not wish to take up. The israeli arabs are not allowed to certain parts of israel because they are of arabic heritage and the zones are "arab free". Thats an apartheid state not a democracy. And if they treat their own citizens that badly how do you think they are treating those that they occupy?
