New Google Groups in Beta
qwe writes "Google has apparently launched a new version of their Google Groups, currently in beta. It looks a lot like Gmail. One can attach a star to message threads. One can even create new groups, although they aren't actual Usenet groups."

Hi all, I've got 4 Gmail invites available to whomever can incorporate the email address I should send the invite to in the most entertaining and/or interesting ASCII art. Bonus points for references to the GNAA.

Damn spyware posing as friendly search bars feed search terms to web spammers to help them gain higher rankings. Generating junk sites with non-relevent content setup by suckers hoping to make money while they sleep selling pyramid web schemes.
Setting up a personnel google web filter to ignore a website and any others that are involved in a crosslinking scheme with each other could really clean up results.
I'd kindly accept one of those invites, if they're still available. Still afer 3hrs i suppose their all gone. In any event here's a try :)

Just noticed a bunch of -1 and 0 comments from folks looking for gmail accounts, the powder2glass google toolbar team gives one away almost daily to (basically) the fastest clicker - something /.'ers should be pretty good at - one is being given away today between 1000-1100 MDT. They aren't quite as nifty or as fun as this radio controlled hovercraft I got yesterday! ;-)
