    Are you sure that Apple isn't just plunking their stores in places where people have more money? From TFA:
    "Apple Store neighborhoods have a median household income of about $73,475 per year; black American households earn a median average of $38,555, according to the ACS estimate for 2016. The median household income in the Bronx is $34,299."

    Their CFO had left in April and their Chief Accounting Officer just resigned ... unknown how those relate to what happened.

    Bummer to see this happen to Ubiquiti as they seem like a good company.

    Currently, cataract surgery is the most commonly performed operation - millions every year in the United States alone. This sounds a bit too good to be true ... but if it actually worked, it would have a HUGE impact on the eye industry.

    The real holy grail would be if it also restored the flexibility of the lens so you would get your accommodation back.

    Bummer to see this happen - was really hoping they could "stick the landing" on the 3rd try ... but obviously never got the chance.

    SpaceX has been very forthcoming with their telemetry data and analysis, so hopefully we'll hear what happened soon.

    They are claiming it will handle 54 Tbps of network traffic ... up from the Vancouver games four years ago that was only 4 Tbps. One interesting tidbit is the ratio of wired to wireless traffic was 4-to-1 back then ... they expect that ratio to be reversed this time ... with 2,000 802.11n access points!

    That a bit more bandwidth than this Christmas website has ... HO-HO-HO! ;-)

    Doesn't say anything about things being different for uploading, but if you are running an Internet facing video camera (or three as seen here) you will easily blow through that 5GByte/month bandwidth cap.

    NCTA calls is "Fair Broadband Pricing" ... for the industry perhaps?!? ;-)

    I used Snort quite a few years ago when Marty was just starting to commercialize it. Great product back then (I'm sure now) and Marty put a TON of time into it ... so I say he deserves every penny for all the hard work that he has done.
