Is Your OS Tough Enough?
LE UI Guy writes "A Denver Post article examines the Internet 'horrors' Windows, Mac and Linux users face simply being connected to the Internet with only an out-of-box configuration. Over the course of a single week the machines were scanned 46,255 times. The test didn't look into additional security threats caused by surfing the web or reading e-mail, just the connection itself."

Your feeble attempts to appease us combined with recent bias against those in your fold that sympathize with moral acitons has left us no choice. We gave you every opportunity to make amends. We gave you every opportunity to turn yourselves around to become a decent employer. We gave you every opportunity to have a graceful end to your oppression of your contractors. Don't act so suprised. Your wrongdoings will be avenged. Guerilla warfare will be the end of you.
The end is near for you. Vengeance will be sweet. Have you nothing to say? No last words?
Without the nasty /. IT theme.
Why, why am I forced to recall that song. I realized there can be no caring god after hearing that song. Now, once again I am forced to recall that wretched piece of radio trash. Mercy.

It's touch alright. It's makin' me its bitch.
I never installed an anti virus, or adaware, nor firewall nor anything like that on my computer at home.
And it's directly connected to the internet. I don't really have any problems with virus, I can still do my work (whatever work it is that im' doing). There's just one thing that bugs me is that it says that some windows files have been replaced, please instert the cd blablabla. So I guess it's been infected with virus huh ?
Well maybe it has, but I really think it's ok, It doesn't bother all that much. Are virus writers so gentle they care to write their stuff in a way that we can both work on that box.
I think that what's happening in fact is that those so called viruses serve a higher purpose, like computing some insurance company's data, or seek aliens like seti@home. And that's why they don't come up with popup or randomely erase your data, they want to keep it quiet, so they can keep doing their job.
