Star Wars Sith Trailer and the O.C.
williamw83 writes "CNN is reporting that the Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith trailer will make its debut during none other than Fox's "The O.C." The article is candid in pointing out that 'as an avid superhero fan, Seth Cohen, the main character of "The O.C." played by Adam Brody, would likely relish the event.' The trailer will air during the March 10 episode, at sometime between 8 and 9PM EST. The article also makes note for those not wishing to tune into the TV drama that "the new trailer will be released in movie theaters beginning March 11.""
I, for one, look forward to the moment young Anakin is disfigured and takes puts on a mask and cape, and dedicates his life to fighting the Fantastic Four.

In a related story which shows the convergence, Jar Jar Binks is set to play a recurring character on the "O.C." next season. Jar Jar was quoted as saying "Meesa learn to say Californisa!".

So in order to see the trailer and tell me friends, I have to admit I watched the OC? Shit.

Ok, ok, here I go.... I'm sure that Episode III will have plenty of action, but what about the dialog? We all know that the dialog in I and II left much to be desired.

This blog (just a little down on the page) seems to contain the entire story line for Episode 3. The movie looks ok. Massive Spoiler though.
The connections between Star Wars and the O.C. are so obvious, I don't know how anyone could miss them. Honestly, I've seen this coming for a long time:
The O.C. series has two really hot chicks, Mischa Barton and Rachel Bilson; Star Wars also has two hot chicks, Natalie Portman and Carrie Fisher (in metallic swimwear).
The O.C. teaches us that love is a powerful force; Star Wars made us love the force.
"California Here We Come, Right back where we started from" is in the OC's theme song; Star Wars was originally filmed in California!
Phantom planet sings the OC's theme song; Star Wars has phantom menaces AND planets.
Oh, and where do you think the people on the OC live? That's right, a PLANET. It couldn't be more obvious if they called their cars pod racers.
The similarities are screaming you in the face. Need I go on?
