Worldwide Halo 2 Tourney In the Works
Gamespot has word that a Worldwide Halo 2 Tourney is in the works, because fragging the Covenant is something we can share as a species. From the article: "The tournament will be played in the Rumble Pit matchmaking playlist over Xbox Live beginning sometime around May 2. Gamers who register and compete in Rumble Pit optimatch sessions will have their statistics recorded for the duration of the competition. At the end of the tournament, on May 30, a winner will be announced based on the highest ranking."
Hopefully the contest will require everyone to d/l the new update. Otherwise you know there are kids who are going to try and pull the standby crapola. Even though Bungie would kick there ass, it would still be a major inconvience to those who play fairly.
I want to sign up for this, but I'm not quite up to snuff on my foreign languages. Does anyone know how to say "n00b" in Japanese?
I hate the X-Box.
I'm looking forward to it coming out for the Mac.

yep...let's reward the players that play lots... instead of the best /realizes the best player may play a lot...
Ok, now let's try this with a game that doesn't suck.

But not as friends, apparently. The lack of Co-op play over XBox Live really sucks.
