If buying songs off iTunes is a bad idea, buying ANY kind of media is a bad idea, doesn't matter what format. How am I supposed to watch all the VHS movies I have? What happens when CD's go out of style? This is just stupid, you can't knock iTunes' MP3s without making the same arguement about all media.

Ahnold is doing the right thing. He just needs to get what he is doing refined. He is not Jack Thompson, he is not saying "OMG GAMES ARE BAD WE SHOULD BURN THEM IN A GIANT BONFIRE." He is saying that the games sold to little Johnny should be restricted. 8 year olds don't need to be playing games with a four letter word in every sentence. Also, parents need to PAY ATTENTION TO THE GODFORSAKEN RATING SYSTEM. Yeah, it sucks. Super Smash Bros shouldn't be rated teen, but hey, it's better than nothing.

  11. Cancelled? As a matter of fact, yes. on Why Do You Block Ads? · · Score: 1

Almost every PC-oriented magazine I read has about 30 pages (I exxagerate) of intarweb computer brand ads in the last pages of their magazine, before the "Rig of the month" or last editorial, and frankly I find it disgusting. I let several run out (Already paid for it), and the ones I still recieve are ones I am getting for free from a survey and what not.

Hey, Magazine editors, I don't care if you don't know what ads are being run right now, FIND OUT. Words cannot express how pissed off people get when they have to flip through that book-length for 1&1 web hosting.

Moving back to the main point, why do people block internet ads? Because physical ads don't cover the text of what you are reading, and they don't suddenly appear and give you a runny nose untill you're reincarnated.
