$1000? I wonder where they got that figure.
Take a look under the specifications. http://www.msimobile.com/DetailPage.aspx?model=Wind_NB_Windows
$499 for the 6 cell version, $479 for the 3 cell. The highest priced wind that will be available in the USA at launch (tomorrow) should only be $499.
I bought one of the first PS2s, so did 6 of my friends. We all had the dreaded "disk read error."
We all sent ours in for repair, out of warranty. Sony did the same thing, 'repaired' each of them for free (less shipping).
The only difference here is that Sony didn't come out publicly like Microsoft is doing.
Oh by the way, I sent mine in 3 times and finally sold the repaired console and swore off Sony products.
Believe it or not, the Discovery Channel put up the cash to have the maps for GOW be free.

Ahem, I believe they were trying to make a Halo 2 killer.
It's 49.99, not $60, fool.
I'm sure they would have all dedicated services like Resistance, but people actually buy the 360, unlike with the PS3.
After $659+$30ish in tax, you better get free online play.
No lag, ever? EVER? Sure...
If anything, Resistance is a Gears of War 'killer.'
That is all.
I used my friends Visa debit card to set up an xbox live account, at the end of the two month free trial I called Xbox customer support and successfully canceled the subscription with the rep fully knowing I was not my friend.
I was extremely suprised at this because before when I tried to do the same thing but with my fathers card, they insisted they talk to the card holder. I just called back the next day and said I was my father.
Over the phone there is not really much they can do to prove identity.
The only two things that will not work are the HD Locals (over the sat, you will still be able to tune them through over the air) and interactive features.

Hello and thank you for contacting Nintendo,
I can appreciate your comments regarding our choice of WEP security for the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection (WFC) service. Nintendo's decision to make the WFC compatible with WEP and not WPA stems from the fact that WEP is the most prevalent standard for securing Wi-Fi connections. We feel that WEP provides sufficient protection.
If you prefer not to change your current security, then you might consider using the Nintendo Wi-Fi USB Connector. Although it uses WEP security, it can only be accessed by a Nintendo DS and will not interfere with your regular wireless security.
We have developed an application you can download to test your PC's possible compatibility with the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection and the Nintendo Wi-Fi USB Connector. This test is not a guarantee that the USB Connector will work, as there are a number of things the application does not test. However, a successful test is a good indication the connector will work. The test application can be found at the following address:
The Nintendo Wi-Fi USB Connector is available at Best Buy, EB Games, Frys, GameStop, Star City Video and Toys R Us. You can also purchase this item directly from our online store (http://store.nintendo.com/usb) or over the phone by calling 1-800-895-1672. The connector carries a Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) of $34.99 U.S. ($39.95 Canadian). Please keep in mind that although Nintendo of America Inc. may suggest retail prices for products, the dealer is free to determine on its own the prices at which it will sell products.
Sincerely,

This is the message I got from Nintendo.
I do not think WEP is sufficient protection, and will NOT buy a DS until it supports an industry standard.
You could always put them in an encrypted (http://www.truecrypt.org/) volume. Then it's one big file, and you don't have to worry about who stumbles upon your pr0n collection.
Two birds with one stone?

http://synergy2.sourceforge.net/ Shares your keyboard and mouse over the network, would work great with a laptop.
When are kids old enough to read books? Watch movies? What is so different about video games? It depends on the content.
No kidding. http://www.majornelson.com/archive/2007/08/10/halo -3-rss-reader.aspx

I would go buy Crackdown today if it supported Legacy and Southpaw. All games should support multiple control schemes.

Because Directv is going to have Direct 2 Go on its DVRs in the future.
249+99 does not = close to 400$ (I'm not saying it cheap either)
So I guess nobody watches the NFL, MLB, NHL, etc. Take a look at some speed runs in video games, or even compedative matches at http://www.mlgpro.com/ or http://www.halo-pro.com/cgi/index.php

Don't work. This supposed message is so obvious it's hard not to laugh.

Hearing isn't that bad, but smelling...
Have you not heard of a little project called Windows Vista?
The magnum wasn't horrible until they applied the Halo 2 1.5. If you remember way back when the dual pistols actually were something to fear.

Click the triangles on the far left. I am also useing firefox and it works fine.
Maybe I played with the wrong people, but nobody on Halo 2 on Live had heard of /.
Reads /., plays Halo 2, what is your gamertag?
Worked fine for the Prohibition of Alcohol/Marijuana/etc.
