First Xbox 360 Reviews Hitting the Web

An anonymous reader writes "The first reviews for Xbox 360 games are starting to hit the web! 1UP has reviewed Kameo, Project Gotham Racing 3, FIFA Soccer 2006, NBA 2K6, and Amped 3, while IGN has reviewed Madden NFL 06, Kameo, and NBA 2K6. Judging from both sets of reviews, it looks like Project Gotham Racing 3 - which scored a 10/10 on 1UP - is the only sure winner of the 360 launch games thus far."

Why is this modded flamebait ?

With Epic Games endlessly bragging about how Gears of War is going to be the next best thing since sliced bread (while, to me, it only looks like yet another FPS shooter with very smooth graphics), where are they in this lineup ?

Also, the question of the GP about a -different- game (and not just a rehash with better graphics of all the same old genres we can also play on the Xbox) not being in that lineup is a legimate question.

Probably some Xbox developers with modpoints...

"Why? I ask seriously. I know some people don't like Microsoft *cough*, but why are they "bitter and disillusioned"?"

    * Dropping of the standard harddrive
    * The backwards compatibility mess
    * The fact that every 360 game is full of jaggies
    * The fact that the 360 graphics look like nothing more than higher rez xbox games - people really need to see the 360 in person to see just how bad they really are
    * Things like the MTV special - I don't think it was that bad, but feel it makes them as xbox players look like retards
    * Also the endless number of broken promises and boderline lies from Microsoft. Screenshots that don't look anything like the games when seen in person.

They don't know what the hell the are going to do now. Buying a PS3 or Revolution would be humiliating since they spent the last four years badmouthing Sony and Nintendo. And other than World of Warcraft there just isn't that much interesting going on in the pc gaming world.

Why are you so defensive about it? Did I hit a nerve there?

No one is impressed by your pathetic little toy masquerading as a multimedia machine. And despite what you claim, your friends were lying if they said they were.

More to the point though, a barebones box, with a 60 dollar video card and some extra memory will crush your xbox.

"Have you ever even tried to get a good (i.e. not acceptible) picture on a PC tv-out?"

Yes, and since I'm not a moran (you should really try to spell your insults correctly), it was easy. For you though, maybe not.

The truth is you wanted to crow about your little project, and while it may have impressed your loser friends a few years ago, computer hardware these days surpasses it in every way. If you believe otherwise, then I suggest you take your own advice and "Go read up".

Moran (thanks for the laugh there, at your expense)

How pathetic are you that you follow me from topic to topic and waste all your mod points at once modding me down?
