OMG PONIES
April fools day on Slashdot is always painful but this is taking it to a new level.
the title said we'd see how to use glitter, but the article didn't show it!!!!!!!!! WHY NOT??????
Now, those of us at the big tech companies can look forward to WEEKS of these signs all over the office. April fool's just extended to cubicles everywhere.

Besides, white paper? No pastel? Better yet, swirl art. He should have used a stencil to make up for his hideous handwriting, and what's the point of an "OMG PONIES" sign if there aren't any pictures of, y'know, ponies on it? While you're out buying some better paper, pick up some equestrian magazines to attack with scissors.
And I think he'd have gotten a better effect if he used a brush on the glue before putting on the sand/glitter/whatever.
I wish thinkgeek would take that idea and apply it to a pink girly T with real puffy glitter. I never though I'd see the day when I'd actually want a pink "OMG!!! Ponies!!!" tshirt.
I don't see why this is so impressive, I mean, it's a nice paper mod and all, but macaroni is more l33t, if water-cooled it can be overclocked up to al dente, and you can do unicorns with macaroni and Moses would have liked it too.
Imagine a Beowulf cluster of OMG!!! Ponies!!!
OMG KITTENS would be more correct, I know many teen girls who don't care about ponies, I don't only know a single one that doesn't squeeks at little kitten.
But... the future refused to change.
I was stuck at work all day, but managed to sneak some supplies to make my own.
My results
I could not use sand, since I could not find any within walking distance of work, so I ended up cutting up foil tissue paper. I even framed mine.
My boss was proud of me (but told me I had to clean up the mess of glittery paper that was all over the floor once I got done)
