    Because internet is easy to block. SMS is far more difficult to block because it is used by all kinds of industrial hardware so blocking it can cause serious issues for thre regime as well. Encrypted SMS is required as a backup service.

    However, windows 10 is still ugly and unclear (which window has foxus? I can't see it quickly on that excuse for a GUI) and windows 8.x also looks not nearly as nice as the classic view on windows 7. MS did it right with windows 95, then improved on that in 98 and 2000. After that, it became childish (XP default look), ugly (win10) or schizophrenic (mixing a phone GUI in 8 and 10).

    Unlike iOS apps, where Apple actively discourages this, Android apps usually run on fairly old versions too. If you are still running the fairly antique version 2.3, you can still run a lot. If you're on 4.4, you can run almost anything.

    iOS customers are more likely to buy an app. And the piracy rate on Android is mucht higher, also because it's easy to install apps outside stores.

  23. Any Android tablet should be able to connect to a Bluetooth keyboard (just like any Android phone). I don't know about iOS but Android is by far the largest number of devices anyway.
