Yes, I really did see the other day a data plan for 21.6 mbps downstream, 1 GB monthly data cap and 64 kbps throttle.

then you get shit deals.. I get unlimited 4G data, texts and any network minutes for 40 GBP per month

Apparently it's run by a relic who can't see where the future of music is going, that 1789 Copyright is obsolete in 2016, and who can't distinguish between the words "stolen" and "replicated".

It's my understanding that Pandora, Spotify, and Google Play are all run by people who are pushing the edge of what they can do legally, every single day. That gives them a direction towards the future.

    Yet another false pedanticism.

Remember, people; the dictionary is only a list of known uses of words. It isn't an exclusive list, just a list of stuff that is known.

So even if the dictionary agreed with you, you'd be wrong. But it doesn't.

In English we have lists of known words, and style guides. There aren't any rules, other than that if it isn't clear what the meaning is, then that is non-optimal. It is easy to write something that sucks, or is meaningless, but much harder to write something that is "wrong." But a false pedanticism is a sure a good try.

There are plenty of rules of English language usage.......

    English Grammar Rules

    Finding Nouns, Verbs, and Subjects
    Subject-Verb Agreement
    Clauses and Phrases
    Pronouns
    Who vs. Whom
    Whoever vs. Whomever
    Who, That, Which
    Adjectives and Adverbs
    Prepositions
    Effective Writing

    Punctuation Rules

    Periods
    Commas
    Semicolons
    Colons
    Quotation Marks
    Parentheses and Brackets
    Apostrophes
    Hyphens
    Dashes
    Ellipses
    Question Marks
    Exclamation Points

    Other Rules

    Capitalization
    Confusing Words and Homonyms
    Writing Numbers
and that's just SOME of them.. So what is this version of the English language you speak of with no rules?

Amazon Prime video does work outside the United states. you get a different selection of videos for each region.
So when i travel to the states i get 40,000+ videos for my viewing pleasure... however when home here in Scotland we get 15,000+ and i imagine the same every region.

Sure it would, and it could be done. But have you noticed that such things need to be a 'top-down' solution, but instead it seems like 'someone' keeps trying to force people closer to the bottom to solve it instead? It's almost like the rich want to keep reminding the rest of us that we shouldn't complain because it could be made much, much worse for us (e.g., we could be made to 'fall off the ladder', and end up jailed, in essence, for being jobless and homeless -- so you'd better keep your 'proper' place).

Yeah and there's a lot of lobbying dollars behind those privatised prisons too , we can't be interrupting their profits with progressive laws!!!
