That book had a profound impact on my life. Totally worth the $10!

Do you not use the "I'm tired of this track" button?

True some tracks get played a little too often, but using the 'tired of' button works well for me. Best $30 or so I've ever spent on music.

  4. Notability + iPad + Zagg BT KB on Ask Slashdot: Best Way To Take Notes In the Modern Classroom? · · Score: 1

Works pretty well for me. You can record your lectures and when you review your notes later, just tap a word to hear what was said at that moment. It does a whole lot more, too. Plus you can sync it to dropbox et. al. and have a PDF of your notes available from nearly anywhere. Add a stylus and you are in pretty good shape. I like the Zagg BT KB because it props up the ipad nicely. So I can flip from keyboard to stylus and back quick and easy.

That's a good point. However, me for example, I don't use any of the services you mentioned, and I've been able to find users that have a good "interesting:not_interesting" ratio, on IG. So I dig it. But I get your point it is utterly redundant for a lot of people who are already using other social apps similar to IG.

As lame as most of the shit is on IG, there are some truly great users/pics. Nat Geo, Auto Addicts, Love Food, Discovery Channel, Red Bull, and One Earth are a few of the really good ones that I follow. Their pics are good enough that they don't use the filters. If you can get a good list of users to follow, it is actually a pretty cool app to waste time/battery on.
