I'm a pretty aggressive driver on the highway. I find that a lot of people who sit in the fast lane are not paying attention to the road by smokin a cig or talkin on the phone. I have no problem with them doing that but when they won't get out of the left lane no matter what I get mad. They have the sign that says "slower traffic keep right" for a reason. I can completely understand traffic and only having one lane but if I drive in the fast lane and someone is on my bumper, i'll get over ASAP.
Or to take it to a more extreme. IRL if you attend school full time and have a job then you can't be taxed state or federal income. So if I play a game where I "attend school full time" then I shouldn't be taxed IRL because i'm going to school. But if the gov't gets in on profits for internet stuff then i'm going to write off my computer, internet, and anything IRL or game that I use as an expense too.
Putting a 10GigE switch in your home won't do anything if your internet connection is still the same. If you want to notice a difference try copying a couple Gig folder from one computer to another one on the network. And since you seem to know your technical stuff with GPON, do you know if your uprate is time divisioned among the 16 channels or is it a solid 1 Gig upload per channel? Because I can see a lot of people setting up servers if they can get 1 Gig upload.
Seriously, anyone? I called it when I prepayed for the game. Blizzard delays every game they put out. Heck, warcraft 3 was delayed for about a year and diablo 2 expansion was horrificly delayed itself. I wouldn't be surprised if blizzard doesn't release the WoW expansion until the summer.
