    Would that even run Windows 3.1?

    Back in those days, we didn't really use Windows for gaming, as it ate too much RAM. It was all DOS until Windows 95 came out, which was a serious game changer (if you had 16 megs of RAM).

    I'd be willing to bet that the correlation here is due to these people not having many, if any, hobbies, so they spend a lot of their days browsing social media and not getting out a whole lot. This, combined with the likelihood of seeing their friends on social media going out and doing fun and interesting things probably compounds the problem.

    There's also the added benefit that media can be shared between multiple devices simultaneously, something that cannot be done with a single SD card.

    I think the AMD64 architecture was probably the most significant in those days because it meant that you could run more than 4GB of RAM without PAE overhead.

    They were also the first x86 vendor to utilize an on-die memory controller, which was a huge advancement for its time. This gave a noticeable performance improvement over systems using on-board controllers.

    Do yourself a favor and get one of these and these. Problem solved. In addition to being a wireless travel router with a big ass (10400mAh) battery that you can use to keep your device(s) charged, it's also effectively a NAS device. Load your thumb drive up with media and stream away to your device. I bought this specifically for streaming media to my tablet(s) while on the plane.
