That's why I prefer the Ducks. Only one vowel, less chance of messing it up :-P

Technically, the 500hp Mustang isn't built by Ford (that's the Saleen S281 Extreme), but that's only a small issue (and not my point).

Ford has been a competitor in the mid-size market for a few years now with its CD3 Platform. I own a Mazda6 and wouldn't trade it for any Camry or Accord (they make me want to yawn). The other CD3 sedans (the Ford Fusion, the Mercury Milan, and the Lincoln MKZ) I'd reason are pretty good too since they're built with the same parts.

how mind blowing it would have been if the sub-surface radar showed roads or infrastructure of a previous existance... It would have turned the way funding is for space all around, as well as change text books all over the world.

Really impressive technology being used here. Kudos to those who make it happen. All this crater stuff, that's just what they want you to think. That's just one of their kid's art project in photoshop. The real pictures would really blow your mind! :-P

    Not sure if anyone put in the coords: 37 38' 45", 115 45' 3"

That puts it right next to the Little A'Le'Inn in Rachel, Nevada. Google Earth and Maps don't have a hi-res of the area. Windows Live Maps has a b&w map of the area, but it looks old (but it's definitely the place).

Just a thought, but couldn't this technique be used for something more covert, like passively recording the info from the rf card keys in someone's pocket to gain access to secure places? hehe

*stands up and addresses the circle of Slashdot* My name is dgbrownnt and my paladin is only at level 53 after a year and a half. Yes, I am one of the seven people who have successfully played only a couple hours a week and have not quit the game... I will be signing autographs outside of Sorrow Hill later (where I've been grinding for the last 2+ months) :-P

  7. Re:powering USB devices on USB To Go Wireless · · Score: 1

Yeah, I'm not particularly interested in making my USB deviceses wireless until they make sending power to the unit wireless or implement batteries which will last the life of the product. Either of those achievements would be a heck of a lot more important than a faster short-range wireless signal, though.

Did anyone else just sense a jillion more [fake] myspace pages for this administrator being created? I could swear I felt that a moment ago... (well at this suit got something done!)
