I would LOVE that job. 90% of them are exactly the same. Just open a text editor with the top 10 sales pitches, then copy/paste and change the name of the caller.
I got an invite a long time ago, unfortunately when google decides who gets invites. The problem is that I live in Canada (where google voice is not available).
Google: Could you please tell me why you gave an invite to someone who lives OUTSIDE your coverage area when others INSIDE your coverage area are fighter over them?
To all the Americans looking for an invite, if I could give mine to you, I probably would. Especially considering it will probably be open-registration before us measly Canadians are allowed in:(
Except that the case is completely different here. People usually "try" a game for an hour or two of content, then decide if they want to buy it. In the case of iPhone apps, the game is OVER in about an hour. Why buy something you were able to BEAT while trying it?
I don't know about Eastern Canada, but in the west all the providers except for Rogers used CDMA. Telus and one other company (can't remember which) is just STARTING to develop a competing GSM network. That's right, instead of sharing GSM networks with Rogers, they are building a SECOND completely REDUNDANT network just for competition reasons.
You can't legislate against stupidity, it's unenforcable.
Well, you *could*, but unfortunately all your voting populace would be in prison...
Well I guess we are stuck in first gear then all the time.
Pffft, a REAL man can start in 3rd gear and rev that sucker up to freeway speeds.
Leave it to kdawson to take a simple, long deserved law, have a stroke and start spewing FUD faster than Microsoft at an Ubuntu release party.

You don't have a kitten do you? ANYTHING will entertain a kitten!

Devise some auto-healing thing that disconnects windows machines.
There, fixed that for you.

Explains hotmail...
By your logic *nix sysadmins would never get employed.

In the real world, of course, you would be dead before morning if you tried anything of this sort on your own.
Only if you forget to add one of the drug houses :P
No, because Flickr actually hosts the images (equivalent to SELLING the crack), not just telling you where it is.
You wrote "shit eating" when you should have written "shit-eating".
IMPOSTER! A real grammar nazi would know that the period goes BEFORE the quotation mark.
Doesn't tpb own a copyright on the logo displayed on their front page? I guess Dutch people are about to see a solid white screen when visiting tpb...
Nope, apparently the reality distortion field can warp laws.
Assuming everyone who registers a domain lives in the US....
Do they also specify how EASY that information is to find?
Doesn't BlackBoard use a java applet for file uploads?
Ok, now I'm curious. Does she do it "just in case she needs it", or does she think she NEEDS to pay it for her phone/cable/etc to keep working?
Telus offers TV over ADSL.
