Just below you mention that in Florida there is not enough differential (I suppose that you meant difference) in water level for hydroelectric to be feasible. That's the delta-h I was referring to.
Why is this a troll? If you caught the "nut" instead of "not" misspelling, and want to help someone who was only making a joke get their karma back, mod back up to at least a 0 (sorry dotanchohen, I don't have mod points today or I'd help ya out myself).
That's cool, I have the karma to burn. I love it when mods don't get jokes and mod Troll. They spread their ignorance (now other people won't see the joke), which just goes to show that ignorance is easier spread then knowledge, even on/..
Even if you accept that that makes it more acceptable (I don't), this creates a huge problem in that Muslims are, by their religion, expected to emulate the ways of Mohammed today, in the 21st century. So, even if the behaviour was 'OK' back in the day, it shouldn't be considered now, so their religion creates a problem in telling them to emulate him.
This is a valid criticism of today's Muslims, not of Muhammad. Of course, one could ask if forcing Western value on the Middle Eastern peoples is a valid task, a debate into which I will not enter.
How did this get modded Informative +5? I'm disgusted. I'm an Israeli Jew, probably the biggest enemy in the eyes of many Muslims, and yet even I find this post offensive.
Not only is it inaccurate and slanderous, it contains outright lies (Islam is the Middle East's response to the Mormon religion/cult) and contrived name calling (pedophile Muhammad). Projecting 2009 Western culture on 1400 year old stories from the Middle East may make Muhammad seem like a child molester, until you realize that was standard practice for the day.
You can take your anti-religion witch hunt somewhere else, thank you.
When I upgrade Ubuntu, its painless, just about everything works the same, same data, same everything just newer versions of some software which generally work the same as the prior versions. Everything is still reasonably fast (though it might be a tad slower), on the other hand, performance is almost non existent on Vista and you will notice a drop in speed and a loss of money in your wallet.
Unless, of course, you've upgraded from KDE 3.x to KDE 4.x. Then it's like a whole new OS. (posted from Kubuntu 9.04 beta, with KDE 4.2.2 which I am loving)
And Skype is the counterexample where if the company sits there and does nothing, the consumer is powerless to improve the situation. If the source code were out in the open, a large user base would devise a solution of it's own.
Luckily* for Linux and Skype users, Skype hasn't been updated in about 2 years, and definitely no 64 bit version. So the vulnerability will be there for who knows how long until Skype (or is it eBay) gets their finger out of their backside and gives Linux/Skype users a better deal.

So Skype could solve this most easily by patching the Windows client and dropping support for the Linux client, no? Be careful what you wish for.
We just put peta and greenpeace in the soon to be harbor, then detonate the nuke.
No! Then the PETA-people will be unfit for consumption. A much better method is to cut a 1 cm slash in their jugular. This keeps them alive for long enough to let their own heart pump out almost all their blood, thus saving you draining time. Sure, it's cruel, but it makes for tasty PETA burgers.
I have filed two bugs at KDE asking for similar features in Kmail, but the developer's opinion seems to be that this method is too "specialized" and nobody uses it. Please comment on these two bugs to get this built into Kmail:
The Republics are those with a traditional non-Russian population, so have some autonomy in the areas of language use. But they're effectively what other countries call provinces or prefectures.
Thanks, I did not realize that. It might still be true, MS Office is one of the first things that I install on a Windows machine (well, was, it's been years!) and certainly before Solidworks.
Actually, wrong.

I don't really think ignorance spreads, everyone is ignorant from the get-go and some people eventually learn.
Preventing people from learning is spreading ignorance.
Do they have a dam nearby they can use as a power reservoir?
It's Florida. Too flat to use running water to generate electricity, no delta-h.
According to the mod history, it was modded Troll then Funny, but Troll has a higher precedence.
Why is this a troll? If you caught the "nut" instead of "not" misspelling, and want to help someone who was only making a joke get their karma back, mod back up to at least a 0 (sorry dotanchohen, I don't have mod points today or I'd help ya out myself).

I think that the GP was referring to COP:

Is there anything else you'd like to know?
You forgot to elaborate on that "data" thing. Wassat?
It would have the added advantage that one 'incident' at the generator site would nut shut down the whole city.
That's disgusting. I hope that the power generator employees won't be doing that on company time.
I would like to live in what seems to be an Experimental Prototype Community Of Tomorrow.
Exactly what I was thinking. And it's in Florida, too.
Exchange Server 2007 gave the bird to Thunderbird. Will Server 2010 support Thunderbird or Seamonkey?
One could only assume that it will give the monkey to Seamonkey.

What is the difference between Britain, England, and the United Kingdom?

Shoot it in the head, and move on :-)
That's how I've always dealt with XP machines in zombie networks.

I don't live in the West.

Just nitpicking, that should be H2He, but otherwise that is a great post. Thanks!
I have my own domain- EVERYONE except family gets a different email address.
I do this too, and Thunderbird's Virtual Identity extension automatically fills in your correct FROM address when you enter the TO address. It's great:

Use receiving email address on reply (not identity-based)
Store per-contact From address in addressbook and use it in composer

Except that this one declared independence (which is not uncommon) and Russia seemingly acknowledged it (which is unheard of):

Up Up Down Down Left Right Left Right B A Start
Thanks, but none of those are Solidworks. I need to be interoperable with other engineers.
