I still don't understand why people think the existence of Google Glass means it's always recording. It has a light on it when it records. It's an extension of the phone, nothing more.
I still don't understand why people think the absence of light means it's not recording. Webcams, mobile phones and Xboxen can still record while being "off". Do you really want to trust Google on that one?
The nicest street of Stuttgart, close to a beautiful park, south-oriented and overlooking the whole city is full of houses that basically are small castles. There's a "Steuerberater" (Tax advisor) shield on every single one of them.
That's what I though too. But I really don't think that would give you an exact location with 5m accuracy. Apple has a database with WiFi Router MAC Addresses linked to coordinates, thanks to so many people having IPhones in the neighboorhood.
That. I installed Mavericks on my Mac Mini last week. Clean install, no Bluetooth, no personal information given, no smartphone connected and obviously no GPS. Just localhost login and WiFi password. I wanted to take a look at Apple Maps and clicked on "Your location" to see if it would get my city right. Well, the map was zoomed at 20 on my balcony, with the exact address. It took me a while to understand how they did it.
You, sir, are an idiot. What do you think will happen to poor people when there's no oil left? Do you really think gas will never get more expensive, independently from green taxes?
I wish I had mod points. Renewables are *by definition* enough. It's what's left after we burnt (or decided to stop burning) everything else. So yes, we'll surely have to use less AC, forget airplanes, drive smaller cars, eat less meat and buy less useless gadgets, but renewables will someday be enough with 100% certainty.
I agree with what you say. I just want to add that the keyboard looks good, but is pretty much unusable without learning unusual shortcuts for some characters.
Perfect use of government money would be to help people eat healthier food and exercise regularly. Subsidize local fruits and vegetables, offer cheap yoga lessons across the country, and you'll soon won't have to monitor as many hearts.

Yesterday, with your mom. :D
Totally worth it, though!
I never know. Is it the momentum or the kinetic energy that hurts?
Note that he also survived 30 days with only H2O and a N2 O2 mixture.

Also, there's a difference between recording, listening and parsing.

What a surprise!

On a related note, is there only one future?
I love it. It's so easy to prove economy is mostly bullshit.
So, tell me more about this infinite growth in a finite world!
Exactly.
It's also possible to measure the impact of a Japanese earthquake in Paris.
It doesn't mean that Parisians should be afraid, though.

It's not meat that's the problem.
It's too much sugar, too much fat, too much salt and too few exercise.
And this house crossed the Australian desert in 2 weeks? :D
Very impressive.
Good to know. Thanks for the info!
Also : Economy Nobel prize.
What a f***ing joke.
"fun fact"?
Just curious : what happens with the spoon?
