If you had 100 friends, all simalarly armed. Would that chang anything. These people have tanks and planes and helicopters. They dont want you to own a whole bunch of guns because for every 1000 people with an AK-47 (who use it for god knows what) there is one guy who will kill a bunch of people with his..and then kill some police who come to stop him. You'd have to get a couple of hundred thousand friends with granades, LAW's, Steyr AUGs, a couple of tanks, a few hundred miles of caves, and lots of food to change the balance of power even a little. The government isn't evil. Its confused. and it cant see all that clearly. And its definately not smart enough, or cohesive enough to try to take your weapons away to keep you down with impunity. Please dont reply with flame. I cant care enough to reply to a offtopic troll more than once...I just had to get this out.

When slashdot posted links (or links to links) of sites that had received letters from "for dummies" lawyers, they explained that it was diluting something they payed lots of money for. Such as Kleenex, or Levi's, etc. Well, I though that was unnecessarily mean. But this I understand. They look quike a bit alike (They do!), at least enough to completely dilute whatever special LOOK that the designers of the Qube had tried to instill on thier product. The next box may have looked similar, but they dont make those anymore. If Qube knew that apple were going to do this, they surely would have designed a different look for product individuality. As for the rediculous comment that the 'cube' name is not the same as 'Qube', well shit, why dont you just join a flame war on IRC, because your logic is freakin shot!

seeing that perhaps you're just tired and cranky, Ill respond like this isnt flame bait. Ok, a large projectile passing mach 1 on the bassis of ripping air out of water (cavitation). This is usually what causes subs to be found from miles (hundreds on occasion) away and they are designed not to create it, and travel relatively slowly. So do this on purpose and the sound itself would probably have whales trying to swim inside nuclear cooling tubes just to get some peace and quiet. Never mind the the unbelievably massive pressure shock wave. Am I a hydrodynamic engineer (no, and to the point of not even knowing if thats the propper way to say that). Do I know what water displacement is? yes. ("Eureka!" come to mind?) does that cause pressure..yes! Do planes cruise at >mach1 around populations (even at high alt.) NO. why because they break everyones god damn windows. and air is a lot (LOT) more forgiving pressure wise. Plus the shuttle goes UP! quickly escaping livable conditions. So I figure the guys not psychic, but he does have common sense. If you doubt this, stick your head in a tub of water and have a friend hit the side with a stick (side of head, or side of tub, either way, the effect is similar).

Maybe they can start burning the tracts instead of using the photolithography etching technique. I think people are trying to stretch the envelope of one tech without rethinking other techniques...of course they only have billions of dollars invested in equipment that does it that way. Plus who would want to move the ion implanter out of the building...its only the size of a bus, in a building with 8 foot doorways. Maybe they dont change because no one wants to move that crap. Remember the people who were born here (like me) have an inherent ability to NOT know how monumentally FANTASTIC it is to be allowed and encouraged to help make your goverments policies(not me)and because of this they often times dont spend the time to learn the issues and their repercusions. Now you may be thinking that im nuts or paranoid or an egotist who doesnt trust his fellow man...fine as long as Im away from the nazi section, and Id say your still not right. Do you think that 1% or 2% of the votes could be cast by people who dont know enough and who WOULDNT have voted if it wasnt so easy....well MOST elections (besides these presidential avalanches of Mondale-isms we keep having) are decided by 1 or 2%. I want my fellow americans (da da dah dahh dahhh dummmmmm....)to help run this place. Well if its easy to vote then more people will do it without thinking. How many people do you know who know the issues NOT just the tagline of a bill. Now how many people do you know who know very little of a position but what they see in a sponsored comercial. A person who goes out in the rain to vote will probably know the effects his actions may produce MORE than a person who can vote as easy as turning on oprah. Its not that I dont want people to help control the country that exhists for them...but Ive seen a lot of these people...and I dont want them to CASUALLY vote and negate mine. If I dont know an issue and its REAL repercusions...I wont vote. Just like if I dont like anything on TV, Ill turn it off, not sit there watching crap thinking this could be better but what the hell, and thats what many people do.
