I agree generally with the above. For some background lectures, I would suggest Leonard Susskind's lectures. A highly entertaining lecturer and knows his stuff. But again, the above is true in that the only way to truly understand physics is to do some problems. To combine it with IT, you can try doing simulations of things. Alternatively try your hand at some masters level projects. (eg. these)
Alternatively, if they were 1c more expensive, these transactions just wouldn't happen. More businesses would incorporate overseas and the same behavior would continue without the US getting any revenue.
BT tried this in the UK. Retrospectively, they found that it would have pretty much cost the same to lay fibre to everyone's door as it would be to maintain their fibre to the cabinet system. 80Mbit/s is what you can get at the maximum. I live about 300m down the road from the nearest phone cabinets I've seen and I get about 60Mb/s
One would hope the only way that one takes the law is literally. If it were open to interpretation as to what was actually illegal well I guess we would have a quagmire of issues...
Interestingly, currently from the UK it is cheaper to pay for a vpn and US netflix than than the UK netflix version which has less content.... If it they were truly separate comparies, they would compete for this market, but they will never.
It's nice that you've had more than 4 friends but more interesting is OCZ drives....
I have an OCZ drive that I acquired due to the shop being out of sale of Crucial equally sized 240GB drives. It's had windows 7 on it since a year and a half ago and is working fine now. No errors ever reported. If everyone who has ever had a hard drive die on them is just going to post we could have a marathon of karma
Fallacy fallacy

And then only 20 years since his ./ comment!
Never before have I so wished I had mod points to give to an AC.
I don't think you owe taxes to any country unless you are a US citizen abroad and then you owe taxes to the US. See this
Yep. Should a player who wins one game with straight flush be immediately declared a poker champion? I don't know, he's stopped playing.

Pretty sure that would be Irish revenue but you would have to pay customs taxes for the package.
Yes, because Ireland is only a holding place for money that should be paid to the US and not part of Europe at all
It is better that ten guilty persons escape than that one innocent suffer
Even formal treaties involving WMD do not seem to apply once war starts: NATO Nuclear Weapons Sharing

Pretty much any deal in the UK comes with unlimited texting in the UK or extraordinarily cheap.
Literally a lie in any civilized country....
This app is incompatible with all of your devices. This item cannot be installed in your device's country.
I'm now more depressed than ever :(
+1
Broke, or fixed?
At least battlefield 4 didn't have a shaky launch due to its DRM

Non-citizens apparently are denied quite a few of these rights thought...

Good god; we better avoid anything that is only one molecule away from another!

And he's not even a true Scotsman!
