    It's interesting that you claimed that I was wrong apparently without researching.

    The proportion of human genetic variation due to differences between populations is modest, and individuals from different populations can be genetically more similar than individuals from the same population.

    The PS3 loves DNLA (UPnP) - why don't you install one of the myriads of free UPnP-servers instead of sharing via Samba?

    I'll agree that it doesn't do .mkv natively. You'll need to repackage (no reconversion) those into AVCHD. Alternatively, you can recode the sound and do .mp4. GOTsent is the god sent utility you're looking for.

    Yes, my PS3 is my full time media player. For all sorts of content.

    Please elaborate. With the exception of the UK most of Europe use the same connector. All countries, including the UK this time, run at 220-240V. From your post above it sounds like you need _one_ single adapter for your European needs. The US on the other hand ... has the most terrible power connector ever (prone to fall out) and is still only at 110V.

    the spectrum that your microwave uses happens to cause water molecules to resonate. These microwaves are of a different spectrum, and while they can be deadly, they are not the same.

    ... unfortunately, that's one of them. The 2.4GHz spectrum was not chosen because water molecules somehow resonate better - and there's no real difference between 2.4GHz and various mobile frequencies around 1.8-1.9GHz with that in mind.

    I do not believe in "if X then Y because" when rewriting history. For all we know - the Soviet Union could've been a perfectly democratic place if Europe hadn't been divided after the war.

    Congratulations, your post is one of few that understands what the road to a Singularity looks like. If an expert scientist 50 years ago was able to communicate with me, today, he or she would consider me to be the smartest person on the planet. ... since I have access to the whole Internet's worth of information.

    That's one of the paths to Singularity. We're well on our way to be able to interface my wetware neurons to electronics, and thus to a real time Internet connection. The brain is highly adaptable and it's likely it will be able to make use of the information. Since others will connect as well, that will create a human hive mind.

    Oh glorious future.

    The CO2 theory is out the door. It doesn't hold up to scrutiny. Falsifying data (temperature adjustments) for political reasons (NASA) won't help.
