Why do you post outright lies to/. - where at least a large numbers of users don't accept propaganda without checking the sources?
1) Prove it 2) No, absolutely not. The truth is posted several times in this article alone already 3) No, on the contrary, they've numerous times complied with inspections
Should I guess which country you're posting from now?
I'd say that pretty much fits in with what was said. Of course quantum is good for quantum, and the RNG was a bit interesting - but the only other practical application (so far) is factorization.
The distortion is that it has anything to do with religion. It hasn't. You might want to ask yourself why you so readily believe people who're basically doing the same thing as some did towards jews just a few decades ago.
with the exception of phones and other "toy" devices... that by far outnumber keyboard-mouse-and-monitor computers, and for large parts of the world will be the only "computers" they'll ever use. Besides gaming most tasks done on desktop computers could (and will) easily be done (albeit with better user interfaces - which is what the article discusses) on what is known as "Mobile Internet Devices" (webpads, mobiles,... ).
The desktop computer as a separate box is a dead end, and the reason you're seeing many companies moving into "mobile" is because they know this.
While not currently related, this should be one more reason for young well-educated Danes to come over and live in Malmö/Sweden - just across the bridge from Copenhagen/Denmark. We're already building what's basically danish neighbourhoods here!
PS: And I might even sell you my apartment. It's pretty close to the subway station opening up in 2011 - for even faster travelling to Cph;)
Other devices are banned as well (including those with no RF transmitters whatsoever) since the distinction would be to confusing to explain. Please think about it for a minute.
You're correct that there are other far worse sources of radiation at 30000 feet besides cellphones though.
or a very near lower powered source such as a cell phone inside the farady cage
While already moderated funny, I'll just clarify that this is a myth. A more likely explanation for the cellphone ban on planes is due to the networks not being able to handle several hundred clients moving at 800km/h in view of tenths maybe hundreds of base stations.
One me, let's call it me' will see a red light. The other me, let's call it me'' will see a blue light. In the instant both mes wake up they are identical, but they will start to diverge instantly and create new and separate experiences of their own.
The question "Which light do YOU see" implies you think there's something mysterious to consciousness;)
The long tail can only survive on the Internet - or if you target customers who aren't price sensitive and thus will support your otherwise failed specialist shop.
Why on earth would I want to browse books in a store instead of search'n'click on the 'net?

Regarding your point 1, are you sure?

"Their is no doubt that temps are going up"
Actually there is. The stations we rely on for the temperature aren't exactly placed where they should be nowadays.
Good blog on the subject - that actually bothers to _check_ the station surroundings!

Umm no, vice versa. Read "Cool it" (Bjorn Lomborg) - it deals with those kinds of economic calculations.
... but you do treat the outside of your house with the expectation that others (random people) will look at it and admire it/you.
After 10Gb/mo they _might_ start to throttle you - but they won't charge extra and they won't cut the service.
"Insightful" - in the US? My $30/month mobile broadband is 7.2/1.4Mbit.

Although there are many things quantum works exceedingly well for
Can you name one? Just last week I heard it was actually _only_ factorization.

Why is a minority of use cases important?

vs
Mobile devices right now are a joke
You might want to realise that the US is a bit behind, but the trend is clear.
(Disclaimer: I work as a researcher in the mobile industry)

Why do you believe all devices have and/or will have keyboards now and/or in the future?
Problems with violence among Muslim immigrants in Parisian suburbs and in Malmö are well-documented
Yes, that lie seems to be commonly published in the US. You might want to ask yourself why people are lying about it though - who has to gain from it?
(I live in Malmö)
... and in Sweden we have HSPA mobile broadband - that's 7.2/1.4Mbit.
Oh, yes. The cost.
$25/month.

Dude. You need to learn how to share. You can't handle smoking that much ..
Correct me if I'm wrong
OK.

Since Blu-ray consistenly outsells HD DVD by about 2:1 I'd say it's pretty much decided.
