Well, gaming isn't much of my thing (anymore). But with decent software supplied with it it'd make a great tool for (in my case art) video presentations having a different video on each LCD. Instead of needing a separate computer for each video, I could use one computer and have 6 lcds connected to it.
Neat.
In semi-contact (kickboxing) class we're always instructed not to overstretch before the combat tournaments because that would slow us down. A warm-up is required but the stretching should be light.
But as a result there are more injuries on the tournaments than on regular combat practices where we stretch a bit more.
Best one ever: Old cars (very old game)
You bought cheapest car, took out all the equipment and sold it for lots and lots of $. I guess without the equipment car was worth less than 0, but the integer would just turn around.
Very good post. I'm just not quite sure Windows taskbar would fit into definition since the patent specificaly claims: "while still giving a spatial frame of reference and the same general interface during the switch." And program windows are not all of the same size and style. Wanna search for more tabs? MS Office has been using them for many years in their options dialogs...
Yes, Ubuntu is just a distribution. Which is exactly the problem. If it fails (like many distros do), who are you gonna call for help? Community? Which is divided among hundreds of distributions each looking similar-but-not-quite-the-same than the other? Yes I'm sure switching distribution is no big problem for an advanced user (with a little help of user manuals which take hours to read). But moving a whole company with perhaps tens of thousands employees to another distribution every 5-10 years, perhaps retraining them to another desktop is quite a different matter. Linux is great for advanced users. With good distributions it is also quite good for home users (like momies and daddies). But it's quite clear you don't know much about enterprise enviroment. They actualy like to have some central authority. For good and for worse...
I fail to see what's so important about it... I mean about 30-40% of people according to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blood_type have 0 blood type anyway so if a given national (or whatever) blood collecting system works, getting O blood type shouldn't really be all that hard...
At least for O+, O- being a completly different story.
Well, if that notebook is to replace not only textbooks but also (paper) notebooks which you write in, it should last more than 4 hrs... Ofcourse then it'd need some kind of tablet to draw diagrams and sketches with (I can't really imagine someone using only keyboard and a mouse to do all the maths for example... it's much too inconvenient and the kid couldn't keep up with the pace).
KB930985 clearly states: "you cannot use an upgrade key to perform a clean installation of Windows Vista." Well, at least they're honest... MS way of kinkyness

Ultima Online was THE best game for unintended item usage.
