Well first of all, it's about time they learn how to read advanced sites! If your site is dependent on input from the user to display content, you're basically invisible to google. Now all they need is something to read text in flash files and they've got something going. But on the other hand, this is almost auto-fuzzing which could be considered hacking and I bet they'll often get results they didn't intend to and expose data that's supposed to be protected and private.
I find it completely ridiculous that Shareaza isn't even on the list. It's completely inaccurate. This data can't be right! I thought it'd be #3 at least. It's the best one I've ever used and I know it's super popular. I mean I know a lot of really stupid people use Limewire but Bearshare and Kazaa beat Shareaza? That's simply incorrect.
I was over fixing a computer for a 70 year old woman and she has an autocad-like program that connects to her automated sweing machine to stich patterns. I thought that was pretty awesome too lol. But btw, upgrade to C#!
I thought if it lost energy, it would get sucked closer to the sun when it's nearest to it which would make it swing wider on the way back around it. But I dunno. Anyway, if a satellite hits it head on on the side furthest away from Earth, the "top" I guess, it would lose it energy and deflect it towards Earth slightly for the next time around. If it hits it on the bottom, it will give it upward force away from Earth for the next time around. If it hits more than one satellite, it may lose enough energy to totally miss Earth next time.
Here's a little detail to add to it. None of the satellites we'll be using in 2029 when it passes are in space right now cuz the recommended lifespan of satellites is like 8-12 years or something. Oh and if it hits a satellite, it can be deflected ANY direction depending on where it gets hit. Anyone ever played pool before? That alone puts it to about on in a trillion. And then we don't know if that new path will cause it to collide with another object in the solar system during its huge orbit which would deflect it nowhere near us. We could just barely put together some remotely accurate numbers if we knew the speed and direction of every object and know every particle and force in our solar system plus a map of all the gravitional forces caused by them the entire time. Nasa and the german kid are kidding themselves if they think that either of their guesses is accurate.
How should people start blowing the whistle on companies like this?
Um...anonymously! DUH! Post some internal e-mails or outgoing to vendor e-mails proving this bullshit to wikileaks using a proxy or something. Or anonymously e-mail the business owners or other high level people about what's going on. Unless they're the ones doing it, then sneak an e-mail to their bosses: THE CUSTOMERS! Lol send out a fake newsletter e-mail to everyone in the database saying you'd just like to let them know about the new security policies of ignoring massive problems and exposing their sensitive data.
I thought it would be mortgage man and his diabolical schemes to give scam loans to poor people in order to drive himself into bankruptcy.
Btw this would be accurate if they made the open source guy an elitist, self important, condescending, arrogant jackass like way too many Linux experts but I think Microsoft forcing everyone to use a horrible operating system is eviler.
You know, I live just far enough away from Oshkosh (coupld miles) to not worry too much when I hear a plane fly by every 5 minutes during the EAA airventure event but now if something goes wrong, I think a rocket engine could reach me:( and a couple nights ago I seriously had a dream that a massive plane crashed near my backyard after trying to do a move that often stalls them and CNN stopped by and we made all the cameramen homemade salsa. Coincidence? I think so lol. But still, there have been crashes in the past and I don't think experimental rockets going as fast as possible + tens of thousands of people is a really good idea.
With Vista out there and God only known what Microsoft has planned for windows 7 and their subscription bullshit, desktop linux is about to get really popular really fast. So I wouldn't worry too much about people forgetting about it and focusing on businesses. Plus if people use Linux at work, even if it's on a server, they're going to come home and want to use it too since it's free and they're familiar with it. Kinda like with Macs in schools except Linux doesn't freeze up and crash every 5 minutes like Mac OS 7 and 8 did when I was in school so people will actually come home and want to use it:P
I play oblivion and when I kick objects or hit them with an arrow or spell or warhammer, they go flying accurately. They drop accurately, roll accurately, and bounce accurately. And I don't have a physics processor. So how did they do it? How is this some big innovation if they can already put extremely realistic physics into a game with existing technology? And not even existing, OLD! I used to run it on a 6600GT OC and recently got an 8600GTS OC and have an AMD 4400+ X2 and it still did nearly perfect physics.
Kinda odd that they'd have taken a picture clear enough to ID ships of that remote part of the world the same day, or possibly even within a couple hours of the ships being there. And two cables cut by unrelated ships within such a short timeframe? This is soooo conspiracy inducing. I think it was all one big test to see what would happen if someone cut the cables. At least now we know all we have to do is drag and anchor to disrupt the communications infrastructure of entire countries. And we thought we needed EMP! Silly us.
I had no idea it was illegal now! Here in the US it's like if you don't own the computer cuz it's a work computer and you're on the work's connection, they can spy on you all you want. It seems completely logical to me and not even really an invasion of privacy cuz you should be ohhhh you know, DOING WORK lol.
If I was some content provider like a youtube knock off or something and I got some bullshit shakedown letter asking for money or they'll limit the download speed at my site, I'd note the ISP sending it and put a blatent note on every video playing page that said "If _____ is your ISP, they're purposely slowing down video streaming on this site. To view videos at full speed, switch to another ISP." That would really burn their ass. You get enough of those messages around the internet on high traffic sites and everyone will get a really bad image of that ISP really fast and switch like crazy. That would be the end of that crap and it would force net nuetrality faster than any law would.
well the idiots chose ACS in the first place, didn't they? The IT department isn't just run by morons, the administration is. Trust me, I met most of them.
ACS is sort of like a long term contracting company that provides entire IT teams to hospitals. I worked at one for another contractor for a short time. Most of the people were crazy dumbfucks. And guess what, the hospital fired ALL OF THEM (well they kept like 2) and replaced them with IBM people cuz they sucked so bad. Other places with permanent, directly hired IT crews just wish they could do that I bet lol.
yeah, I was thinking about matching it with the opposite signal in the ear/brain but I kid you not, the first thing I thought was well that's not how they do it on Star Trek cuz some alien species don't have the same inner ear structure.
Yay, now we finally have the final key to making a holodeck! Oh wait, we need holographic projects too, darn! *puts down his actual +2 claymore* Actually I'm pretty sure there's no way for this to convince someone it's real. You know that the ground is moving under you when you take a step so you'll always know you're not really going anywhere. Plus, people can sense acceleration. If this thing was to work at a full run plus jumping and quick corners like virtual basketball or something, it would simply trip the user as soon as it rapidly changed directions.
Oh yeah and Roland is a douchebag
yeah, especially with you know...GLOBAL WARMING! Can't believe you didn't mention that. We should use it to make plastic and vaseline and that's about it! Btw North and South Dakota have the cheapest real estate (land AND housing) prices in the entire US last I checked. Now I bet people are gonna get a pretty good return on investment!
lol I worked for IBM for 3 days through a contractor and they couldn't even pull some magic pixie dust out of their ass to get their hand scanner PDAs to work hehehe.
the less they tell you, the more hype it gets regardless of how good it is. Remember Vista? It was supposed to be the end all OS sent straight down from heaven but they didn't release any specifics. And now look what happened. I doubt a magical storage system that can heal itself and never fails or loses data is a bit of an exaggeration too.
I think they're stalling why they try and figure out why the hell Microsoft would ever want to buy such a crappy company. I mean really, they've been sued for human rights violations and basically everything else you could think of, they've served up malware, they've rivaled AOL in annoyingness and quality of software and everyone with a brain hates them. I still can't even figure out why Microsoft would want them other than to just make them go away.

In case you didn't catch it, he built it all for paintball! THAT'S AWESOME! For $2000 total that's not bad if someone were to built another one. Although call me crazy but with gas prices, I'd wanna build a more fuel efficient pod racer instead lol. Btw I love where he says all you gotta do is put a slow moving vehicle sign on it or an orange triangle and it's technically a tractor.
well then that settles it. The most logical explanation is that the village people have nothing better to do than troll the internet, looking for YMCA uses references while they're riding the ever shrinking residual income off that stupid song. I bet they wear their outfits while they do it lmao.
yes, that's the dictionary definition of a sociopath. Normal human interaction of any humans in groups is that any individual is concerned about what the others think of them. If nobody was, society would collapse because people would do whatever they wanted. Those that think they're above everyone else and don't have to abide by social policies and think every other individual doesn't matter are sociopaths.

That's not really IP. It's an actual, physical mould making actual physical objects. This is barely about the stormtrooper image itself.
