There was a toggle switch on the front and you could switch it from BASIC to APL before powering it on to have it be a machine running either language. It had tape cartrige mass storage.
We played 'Star Trek' on it among other things. It was definitely a family experience.
Incidentally (or not) the first IBM PC was designated the Model 5150.
