    The article is likely correct about the snacks and food. Also, no offense intended to anyone, but I've noticed that people who just zone out to television as compared to active computer users/gamers tend to be a bit...dumber.

    Yes yes, I know, a generalization...but in my experience, it's the truth.

    Never said it was what I personally wanted, I was merely offering it as a solution to getting people to not muck around on the Internet while in class.

    If you want my person opinion though, I'm with you...I don't care one way or the other. Someone not getting the most out of their (expensive) education is their business, not mine.

    My fiancee found that (with her profs permission, of course) having an audio recorder up close to the guy while he was going through his lecture really helped her. She would write down the general idea of what he was talking about, then later that night listen to the recording and type out more complete notes, using her written notes from class as reference. Doing it twice and hearing it twice helped her retain more.

    Granted, this won't work for everyone, but it certainly worked for her.

    This whole thing could be avoided if the wifi connections available inside the classrooms were heavily filtered. It would be a bitch to administrate, but it would stop people from playing games during class and get them to concentrate.

    It's possible that I just caught them at a bad time, but I had a horrible experience when I went straight through GoDaddy. Issues with my website randomly being unavailable, FTP problems, database crashes...I don't know what was going on, but since I went through Proud Domains I haven't had a single problem ::knock on wood::. Not sure if it's because it is handled by different people or what, but I haven't had the problems I did when I was registered directly through GoDaddy.

    Feh. GoDaddy has horrible tech support, and just offer a generally shoddy product. I use Proud Domains, and have been super happy with the service they provide. I would recommend them to anyone looking for hosting.

    Steam is the ONLY DRM system that I am willing to tolerate. The benefits that Steam provides far outweigh the minor inconvenience of its DRM. It certainly isn't perfect, but its the closest thing out there to how DRM should be utilized.

    To be fair, the Democrats are just as bad...the difference being that Democrats like to pretend they aren't lying to you, while Republicans lie right to your face. Either way, still lying.

    How much are replacement injectors using this technology going to cost? How much are other various parts going to cost (wiring harness that connects to the injectors, etc.)? How big will the heating and pressurizing mechanism be? (although based on the pic in TFA, it looks like it may piggy back right on the injector...which would raise the cost to replace them by a LOT) How much would that cost to replace? Would it be available only through the OEM company, or will other companies be able to build their own?

    All things to think about.

    While I agree that a recurring revenue model isn't necessarily the best way, his solution is the best proposed so far, and a relatively inexpensive one at that.
