Say you are elderly (or just plain unlucky) and you don't have health insurance...we will get you enrolled in a Patient Assistance Program where you get your necessary drugs (cancer drugs, anti-seizure medication, etc.) for little or no cost to you. Or say you DO have insurance, but your insurance company denies you coverage for a drug that we work with...we will appeal the denial and basically convince your insurance company to provide you coverage.

We obviously do more than just those two things, but those are good examples of some of the services we provide.

Luckily, with the way our company and our "teams" are structured, each person is assigned specfici tasks to do and are trained to do those tasks...as such, unless you have been trained to do something, they could be short 5 people and they STILL won't ask you to help out.

It sounds assbackwords, I know, but in doing it this way people are EXTREMELY proficient at what they do...our revenues are massive, and our clients are always happy...not to mention you never get someone who is "luke warm" about their job...if you don't like what you are doing, you are simply moved to another role.

  9. My impressions on Bioshock's Launch Aftershocks · · Score: 1

First and foremost, BioShock definitely ranks up there in my top 3 of all time. The graphics are gorgeous, the sound is phenomenal, the production values are sky high, and the game is just plain fun. Me and my ladyfriend turned out the lights, cranked my surround system up really high (a good sub or speakers with good bass response is a MUST for this game) and popped it in.

The first 15 minutes, were absolutely terrifying. Not to ruin it for anyone, but if you are able to play it on a surround system (and a good one, at that) definitely take advantage of that and turn it up as loud as you can...much like in System Shock/System Shock 2, sound plays a HUGE role in this game) For the remainder of the 18 or so hours of playtime it took to beat, my ladyfriend sat there eyes wide with her hands over her mouth...she actually screamed more than a few times:-)

The whole widescreen issue doesn't bother me...it looks fantastic enough on an HDTV for me to not even care. As far as the talks of the rootkit and activation issues, I don't know anything about that since I have it for 360.

It is one of the few games out there that deserves every single bit of hype it has received. One of the greatest games ever made...every gamer needs to play through it at least once.

I don't know about you, but I know MANY people that think the way they do because of their "party affiliation", not the other way around. It's ok and encouraged for people to have different views on things...however, you can't sit there and tell me that you think someone's opinion is not swayed based on what their "side" generally thinks. Granted, not everyone follows one side or the other blindly...unfortunately, it's almost universal that the ones that end up in power DO follow blindly.

The "team" nature that this country has become obsessed with is the marking of our downfall. People like the person quoted in this post are the EXACT reason why this country is fucked. I understand what you are saying, I'm not saying it's BAD that the PS3 does those things...I'm just saying that I wish that it had a better library of games is all.

In all honesty, I really don't care about that other stuff...I bought the system primarily to play games on it...yes, I know it's a "great deal" getting all of that in one package, but getting that stuff didn't influence my purchase at all...I still would have bought one anyway even if the only thing it did was play games.

WHat I'm so frustrated about is not the price or anything like that, but the fact that most of the games I bought it for have either been pushed back time and time again, or have gone multi-platform (thus rendering the "need" for a PS3 a bit moot)

Realistically, the only things coming out for it that have me REALLY excited are Lair, Warhawk, Haze, and God of War 3....Compared to the list of stuff coming out for the 360 that has me excited (which if you go further up in the thread you will see...don't feel like looking for it all)

I really really want to like the PS3 as a gaming console, but Sony is making it very difficult. They should have just forgone the whole gaming aspect and released it as a multimedia powerhouse (with a bit less muscle under the case) and charged half-price for it...
