There have been a few times were I have been shipped out to no where with limited resources/budget and asked to install some piece of equipment I have never seen before.
The problem as I see it is I'm good at installing tech and am a bit of a perfectionist. So when handed some new widget by those dough brained sales people or customers who look at you like your some kind of computer genius it causes STRESS.
Then you get lost at some point which drives up the stress which makes you screw up which drives up the stress etc, etc. In the end I have found you save far more time by stepping away for 15-30 minutes. Use that time to get ahold of the products support people HAHAHA. More Stress.
at BrightNoise Inc that works with IP based cameras and video "servers" to stream images and detect motion, alarms, etc in sensitive areas . One of the biggest concerns I have had is tampering with jpegs or avi files exported from these softwares. AFAIK none has been challenged in a court of law here in the states, but we have had several schools and companies use it as proof of guilt for thieving and extortion!! The approach Milestone took was to make it exceedingly difficult to tamper with the original recording but allow exports. I train users to immediatly remove the original drives or enter server when there is an event of serious enough magnitude, lets face it whats a few thousand dollars when your talking about firing someone or worse? Personally I would like to see water marks or some embedded checksum in the images.
Losing mindstorm sucks but all the rest of that crap, movie placement &^!@# has to go. Give us more sets of building pieces at a reasonable price and maybe come out with advanced builder pieces. BTW my little ones never did anything with the big blocks but chew on them, now that they are older they love my lego blocks from 1970!!!
Could being labeled a threat, which then causes you to lose your only source of income, be actionable?
Seems to me that if my employer was happy with my performance before the audit and I truly was no risk, I'd get a lawyer and sue both the company and the third party.
I had something similar happen to me back in the 80's and have regretted not taking action against what turn out to be a bunch of bastards
This just in: The SCO Group and Daryl McBride announced today a new lawsuit directed at Microsoft for even thinking like their software product, recently copied by the evil GPL. McBride says "If the software industry continues to steal our ideas, such as thinking, ALL YOUR BASE BELONG TO US!!!"

We will no longer consider any of your products for internal use or recommend them to our clients. In addition I and our entire office are now actively recommending alternative products to our family and friends.
If at some point in the future you change your anti-first amendment anti-second amendment attack we will review our policy.
have on the earth and how rapid a rise would we see if it does effect us? Seems like last weekend got hotter then usual her in N.Cal. and I remember somewhere reading the sunspots while dark had a much higher temperature then the rest of the surface of the sun?

I can't tell the difference between Bush and Clinton but man these people are NUTS! I think now I just anti enslavement, be it welfare or monopolistic companies like MS I'm not a fan of either!
