    The spec is blu-ray. Joe six pack put the blu-ray disc in the blu-ray player and it doesn't work. Joe sixpack doesn't give a fuck about codecs or DRM he just wanted to watch a blu-ray movie on a blu-ray player.

    I have a similar problem and it's called suppression. I have found I can make the "bad eye" (though it's not really the eye that is the problem in my case my eye is perfectly healthy) work via restriction of the light entering the good one. Unfortunately vision in the bad one is too poor to do anything useful.

    3d movies of the two coloured glasses type works for about fifteen minutes than suppression kicks in and I stop seeing the effects.

    Left handers will do what they have always done. Deal. Lots of power tools are designed with right handers in mind, no thought to lefties. Even a simple can opener you have to buy from a specialty store (and pay a premium).

    In Australia there are data caps. The most my ISP will sell me is 60GB. 20 peak 40 offpeak. The only option I have to get more would be to change ISP and possibly pay more for the privilege.

    And it regularly hits 40 degrees Celsius where I live in sydney. What are we not allowed to use our phones on hot or cold days? Just one more reason for me to not buy an Iphone.

    Or how about when you buy the game and it's fucked out of the box due to DRM. But it's ok that those fuckers steal our money. And it is stealing if the "product" doesn't work.

    That doesn't help kids spending their hard earned and saved allowances to purchase a (maybe their first) game.

    My son now knows how to download and obtain cracks for games now. How does that help prevent piracy one might ask?

    Direct neural interfaces As I understand it its making the connection between electronic and biological parts that's the problem. This goes at least part of the way to solving it.
