    Anonymous can't even take my $14 a month (hosting costs) website offline, and they have tried along with some SQL injection attempts. Also an epic fail.

    Anonymous are no threat to anyone. Except corporations with a half assed approach to security.

    Surprisingly few I would think. Anonymous actively discourage using Tor for LOIC because it means they also DoS the Tor network.

    The general consensus in their IRC is that "no one gets caught for this". They are now getting their wake up call.

    I've been using Jungle Disk for a while now. Encryption is done on the client side, which was a big selling point for me.

    Go for a walk up and down the stairs. Six flights! 14 stairs on each flight except between the 2nd and 3rd floor, where one flight had 13.

    The fact that you know how many stairs there are just shows how boring the job must have been.

    That fact that they are talking about TLDs as if they where networks just shows they know nothing about the internet. These so called "experts" have obviously read about Lulzsec and Anonymous and are now trying to apply their lack of understanding to the internet. They probabbly thing The Internet and The Web are the same thing.

    Lot's of companies use their own VPNs. This is a stupid proposal to a problem that's already solved.

    Spot on, but the problem is that it's technically possible for them to do this. So they do it.

    This type of seizure is totally unprecedented. Criminals do not have their identity stolen even when found guilty in court. They still retain the rights to it. However with a domain name they seem to make an exception.
