    Why? They do the same job.

    If your worried about reliability of a socket spanner, you could just buy 3 for the price of one. That way at least 2 are going to work as worse case scenario.

    How is the average person supposed to know what laws exist until they are prosecuted by them?

    It's not like politicians tell the voter what they are doing or plan to do.

    I have never been able to work out any useful function of patriotism.

    It allows the army to recruit more easily.

    I never upgraded either just brought a new laptop with Vista. I wouldn't upgrade an XP machine to Vista because there is little point, especially with old hardware.

    I find it interesting that allot of the people who bad mouth Vista have never actually run it.

    Vista is a vast improvement over XP.

    Just about all the problems with it are from people using inferior hardware. You can't run XP on a commodore64 either.

    Wouldn't it depend on the user?

    I use ssl to my IMAP server, that prevents anyone looking at it when I use a wifi spot. Can't you do the same with blackberries?

    Are you paid depending on the number of calls/tickets you answer or paid by the hour?
    Because if your paid by the hour then they should be paying you as soon as your at your desk, setting up is a part of the job and you should be paid for it.

    I'm a truck driver and I get paid while the warehouse is loading my truck (I drink my morning coffee).

    Whatever your start time is, that's when they should pay you from. It's normally good practice to be onsite 10mins early which you don't get paid for but you also don't have to start your job (that includes setting up) until your start time.
