I just recently got to play through 1,2, and Saga and I must say
Saga is the first RPG I've ever played that I actually liked. The only game since it that got the hybrid RPG/real time fighting engine right was KOTOR. I urge anyone with a saturn and $200 to play it, hahaha
or just anyone with some time to research saturn piracy and 4 spare CDRs
don't say "defeat the evil Covenant."
for the 5 other people who may be following the story, ITS NOT THE COVENANT WHO ARE BAD NOW
come on, "evil" is rarely the case in stories meant for people over the age of 5
my computer is midrange this generation and I don't have any problems at all
I even prefer the steam thing, because I can let friends play when I'm away from good computers for months at a time. Or when I reinstall an OS I just grab steam instead of searching for install discs, which are long gone by the way
they should take a page out of galaxyzoo's book and make this easier
you have to like... sign in, then figure out what a HIT is then accept it, then click yes or no, then remember to click auto accept hit, then randomly it goes "hey wait aren't you a bot?" and you have to enter in letters
thanks for impeding the search for this guy amazon
I'm an idiot nerd who has terrible taste in music
we don't all like wierd al and they might be giants
stick to quantum computing and videogame news
also all modern bands use technology unless they're amish or on some sort of pointless little crusade
what is he talking about just because he doesn't understand how to use the internet to meet people, doesn't mean he can make stupid statements like this
I have an entire network of friends who, using only their computers, instruments of choice, and the internet, make great music between each other we're literally friends, and this is real music
if anything the internet is what will finally set music free giving everyone an equal chance to put their stuff up
it may dilute it all a bit (an effect I hope for with a lot of genres) but in the end we'll have more options as listeners and musicians will have more options for making money
yessss virginmobile is what I use for prepaid and it has been perfect my deal was a free no "bells/whistles phone" with $20 into an account you can pay paypal or whatever you want even from the phone its self, and it's just great
no, if you look around on google you'll find an interview with one of the okami designers
it turns out okami had been in development since 2000,
while TP was only started in 2001
the guy even says that he got really angry at first when there was this announcement of the wolf
but because okami hadn't been announced, and was just in early development, people were going to think just like you do
I know I was not the only one to find twilight princess downright depressing
not only had they completely run out of environmental ideas (basically just ocarina of time again)
they'd run out of storyline ideas
(yes, they did in fact COMPLETELY rip off the concept of a wolf from okami, and anyone who thinks otherwise has not read the facts)
and they had long ago stopped even attempting to be new with the temple design
I really enjoyed wind waker and majora's mask, and I believe this is where zelda needs to be
short, weird, completely original little games that, even though they're not the hardest in the world, come out at just the right length, and don't feel like they're stealing from past zelda games, or other games in the genre
they seriously need to stop with the "epic huge massive adventure" game, because it's obviously not possible for them to keep it original
anyone who says games aren't engrossing has not played the truly great games
there are very few storylines as concise and yet so incredibly deep and meaningful as ICOs
my god, in that game it's not that you care about losing the game if Yorda is captured by the horrifying black spirity things,
it's that you don't want HER to be caught.
there's a part near the end where you're about to escape, but the bridge you're on starts retracting from both sides
she's on the castle's side, you're on the escaping side
honestly, the second I could move after the quick little cinematic I ran and jumped to her
AWAY from the exit
because I cared about her
I had no idea if that was the correct "game" thing to do
I just reacted
of course, that's what you're supposed to do
but no game has manipulated me like that emotionally
(it wasn't like a crying "I want to be with her!" thing, either because that's not what ICO and Yorda's relationship in that game is about... it was just... the natural reaction)
Cookies on dowels!
you're fed up with the industry, so you want to buy straight from the industry?
hope this is sarcastic....
ugh shut up II was really bad and barely counts as a videogame

haha
welcome, everyone, to the only post this topic needs
so damn true
it's like these guys want to die
also remember the next big title from the ICO team people (making it inevitable that I'll buy a PS3)
those crafty crackas!
if the iphone does as good as everyone says it might, they'll shut up and get on board I'm sure
