    Or you could vote for someone who's voting record matches exactly with what he preaches, like Bernie Sanders.
    But, I guess it is your right to take a gamble on the known psychopath who you already know has several screws loose and no moral objections to lying to you for your vote, but you know, there may be a small chance that psychopath doesn't have your interests in mind when he enriches himself.

    No, it wasn't a "normal market cycle." Just like all the other major market busts of history, this perceived "massive shortage of nurses" was engineered. In this case to lower the wages in the health-care industry.

    In all industries, whenever the wages are getting higher than the corporations want they will start a propaganda campaign to make people believe that there is a massive shortage of workers in that sector and tell them how much the wages are about to rise in order to create a flood into that sector which will greatly lower the average wage.

    Or fire you for no reason at all. The entire purpose of "right to work" legislation is to drive down worker pay by giving the corporation even more power over the workers.

    Doing things with 6 parties instead of two is a lot easier. When you have 6 parties you don't have about half on one side of an issue and the other half opposed to it just because the first party is for it.

    I'm sorry, but you are thinking of a constitutional republic, not a democracy. In a complete democracy the majority always gets what they want. In a constitutional republic there are limits to what the public can have the government do which are set in the constitution. This does not mean that governments like ours in the US actually follow the constitution, but that is the way it is designed to work.

    How do you know that is the will of the people? Remember you can be put in jail in Germany for anything which can be construed as hate, and speaking against the law can be construed as hate. There is no way to know if they like the law or are afraid of going to jail for not liking it.

    Yes, I have actually seen such. I knew a guy who did shows that required him to conceal a sword as part of the act. He had to get a concealed weapons permit specifically for swords.

    A good place to draw the line is after it draws its first unassisted breath of air. Until that point it is a parasite and should not be legally anything more. And yes, I do mean that it should be considered abortion to remove life support from a baby that has never been able to breathe on its own.
