Exactly. They are just trying to sell a product by over hyping it. Nothing new here folks, move along. This is not new or amazing at all. In fact it's pretty lame what people will say and do to try to make a buck.

Agreed, my 1993 Honda Civic VX gets over 40MPG with no problem. My car weights around 2200lbs. I was listening to a radio commercial the other day for new Civic's proudly bragging that they get 35MPG.... Wow, I get that on a bad day, full ac and driving the hell out of it. Guess that extra 1000lbs makes a big difference.

  10. companies are evil on EU Commissioner Proposes 95 year Copyright · · Score: 1

Some of you are complaining about companies for doing this. Yes it is the companies that want all the money. Welcome to capitalism. Enjoy your stay. Artist's, animators, writers, all of the people that actually create are usually more interested in creating than making money. That's where the big capitalist business come in and hire these artists, then steal their works with "copyrights"! It's absurd. What's even more absurd is that people actually pay for music at all. I can understand paying for the costs of production or a show, but just paying $20 for a cd with 10 songs on it? Find a local band and they are sure to give you a cd for maybe $5 with the same amount of songs. All the money is being funneled into the company's pocket. I am not sure about other countries, but in the USA companies benefit way more than people, and they are even allowed to break law and have special rules that ordinary people don't have. Again, it's all about money. Money is the root of all evil. I know that's cliche, but it's true. Capitalism = evil.

  14. ok guys on Everquest I and II Slated For Expansions · · Score: 1

First off, companies are out to make money, not give away new content that cost them to make. Welcome to the real world of capitalism. Second off, I play eq2 and welcome any new content. Although I don't have a lvl 50 character yet, I was assume that if you get bored with your maxed out lvl character, start a new character. That's the reason you are given more than one character slot. This game, is far beyond WoW, especially graphically. I played WoW for a few weeks, and found it to be really really boring. With EQ2, I am less bored. All massive games get boring, but some are less boring than others. If you don't want to play, don't pay? Why complain about it?

This price seems really amazing, I bet x-box 2's won't cost that much. I think the price of the N-Gage is lower if I am not mistaken? For this price, I would hope it comes with 4 free games. The amount of money these companies are expecting to rip from out pockets is really amazing.
