A good way to avoid accidentially getting charged for other people's items (which is still unlikely because of the proximity required to the sensor) would be to make it only active while you held down a button. Point watch at sensor, push button on side of watch. That way it couldn't be activated accidentally.
I tried out the keygen yesterday. It does not work. The keys that generated by it for Windows XP Pro DO NOT WORK for activation.
I have a legal copy of XP, I just tried activating on a seperate partition with the keys generated...I generated and tried 10 different keys, none of them worked.
I had NetFlix for about 6 months. If you're going to cancel your account, make sure you send back all of the DVD's and that they acknowledge receipt before you cancel the account.
I had three DVD's out when I cancelled. After I cancelled the account, they told me that I had 7 days to return them. I mailed them out the same day, and they denied ever receiving them, and charged me the full retail price for all of the DVD's. They eventually credited my account about a month later after I sent them a letter.
If you must send back DVD's after you have already cancelled, spend the extra few dollars to send them Return Receipt Requested from the post office to make sure that they cannot deny receiving them.

Darn, they finally caught the orders. I guess we have no recourse, since their posted policy allows them to cancel orders. I read a post on here about them not being able to reserve such a right, since they technically never had it in the first place. Can someone give some more insight into this?
It can be ordered again now, but it's showing the correct price of $399.99. I wonder if they'll honor the price of $129 for those of us (like me) who got their order in in time? Are there any laws that require them to do so, or can they duck out using their 'We reserve the right to correct typographical errors' clause?
Well, I ordered mine. Maybe we'll get lucky. I guess they have to either fill the order or cancel it. They're not allowed to change the price and then charge us $400 without asking us first, right?
Amazon.com doesn't have the book yet, I submitted a request for it, maybe they'll start carrying it if enough people request it. There's a link at the bottom of the page for suggesting items for them to sell.
I've always found the vibrating controllers annoying, and always turn off the feature in the games that I play. Sure, the novelty was great at first, but your hands feel weird when you leave it going for too long.
Almost all geek food can be prepared in the microwave.
However, it helps to know the following:
- Aluminum foil does not work well if you try to microwave it.
- Take the ramen noodles out of the package before microwaving them.
- Don't microwave your fail-burned CD-R's. Sure, they make cool sparks and look real neat after they come out (assuming you don't nuke it for more than 3 seconds), but do you really want to be eating molten plastic when you throw the leftover pizza in the same microwave ten minutes later?
I don't think that celebrities and such should be allowed onto the ISS. This isn't a luxury space hotel; it's a place for scientific research. The only non-astronauts that should be allowed on the space station are scientists who have valid research to conduct in a zero-g environment, and then only if it was absolutely necessary that the scientist go himself.
I'm certainly not against the idea of space tourism; I'd love to go up myself. However, this shouldn't be happening for many more years. We can't be more than a century away from having actual hotels on the moon or up in space. People have always dreamed about being able to visit space.

Well, it's the end of the business day (on the East coast), and they haven't cancelled my order yet.
I wonder if they purposely post stuff with a low price like that for a short period of time just for the advertising value?
