    By "spirituality" I meant I have no issue anybody believing anything they want if that helps him cope better with life. Whether that entails bug eyed aliens or flying ramen noodles is none of my concern.

    Priesthood, on the other hand, ensures that preservation of priesthood is at least as big a concern of theirs as anything else, and when we are talking about the Roman Catholic church, given their position and influence in so many societies, their dirty laundry spills over to become my (i.e., non-Catholics') problem.

    Commanders say that the slides impart less information than a five-page paper can hold, and that they relieve the briefer of the need to polish writing to convey an analytic, persuasive point. Imagine lawyers presenting arguments before the Supreme Court in slides instead of legal briefs.

    I was agreeing with you, but was suggesting the use of the term "note" instead of "sound" as a better alternative to convey your meaning. The "pedants" I had in mind were those who would go on about how a "note" can contain multiple harmonics, and so forth, unless the note is a sign wave.

If so, post a little story - tell us so that more will whitelist the URL for ads (or perhaps even subscribe). You've done good over the years to build loyalty, let me tell ya. Yous guys are an institution for us geeks and nerds of all stripes. Keep it that way.
