    Let's see. They had BASIC interpreter, BASIC compiler, macro assembler (for 8080/z80), probably some other stuff.

    Actually, their CP/M card for Apple was pretty neat.

    Give them a break. PHP started out as an alternative to server-side ASP.

    C++ has to be the worst example of scope-creep. I mean, there is no such thing as a single "C++" - each shop has its own flavor of C++ that are not mutually intelligible.
