    To go even further. Ipad 2 is $399 and is the full iOS experience. Ipad 3 is the 'luxury' model.

    I run a video service for all my family members off of 3 TB. Almost 2000 movies. You are doing it wrong. Rip the DVD, compress, delete DVD files. Fuck Blu-ray, horribly bloated but then im not a videophile in that sense. I prefer high availability over absolute pixel perfection.

    You do realize that what makes most paintings special is their placement in history right? The development of the art of painting over centuries. The same could be said of the MacBook. Its a prime example of a laptop of this time.

    If you had a clue on how games are designed I wouldnt have to explain to you how stupid you sound. Games arent jsut designed form the aether, DECISIONS are made that affect the balance of the game. Those DECISIONS included hampering single player mode so severely that the only truly viable option is to trade. Single player mode was PURPOSEFULLY deprecated to force trades. It was a decision wholly dictated by business reasons, not gameplay.

    I just had to destroy my MythTV ubuntu VM install because the Myth Front end kept detecting that it was crashing at the end and restarting it. I couldnt get out of it . Endless loops occur in computing, its not just windows.

    All of your calculations are meaningless without including the cost of OSX, which you cant define so to you its nil. You cannot compare a Mac to a PC without also comparing the attendant OS. Yes apple gouges on Ram, we all know this. Mercedes-Benz gouges on spare parts, we all know this too.

    You're kind of a dick arent you. I already said i dont get it for my use case, but i could see the use case for it. To me its a nicety, but whatever. I gave up caring about monitor resolution when 1080p became de facto.
