I understand what you are getting at, but saying a game where the absolute #1 goal is to kill as many people in a row as possible isnt especially violent says something. Its an EXCEPTIONALLY violent game considering the one and only goal is to rack up kills of other players using very detailed human avatars. IM not saying its obscene or judging, i play all kinds of shooters, i jsut wanted to point out how numb you have become to violence.

Some people buy camcorders for their vacations and attempt to return them after, ditto for TVs and the Super Bowl, does that mean that all camcorders/TVs should be non-refundable?

It most certainly does not work 'out of the box' You have to buy a special USB dongle receiver for $20 to get it to work on PC. And to be fair, Sony has never supported their game pad being on PC, even if it is using bluetooth.
If you have to connect to the net everytime to use the controller thats a driver/software implementation issue imposed by a 3rd party.
Not everything in this life can be monitored or prevented. There is very little point in spending huge sums of money scanning for world killers as at this point there isnt much we can do about it anyways.

You are right and people can vote with their wallet, but your assertation of take it or leave it ignores a whole host of other perspectives.
This is garbage. I study everyday and have almost everyday since i left college. American Universities pad their curriculum instead of planning an effective and speedy education. Not everything Universities do is for the good of the student. You would do well to remember that.
If their content is worthy, it will rise above the crap. Fortunes have been made in simply indexing data and making it relevant, how is this any different? Please stop trying to artificially limit the marketplace to what YOU deem market worthy.
