  1. What a joke on Project Natal Pricing and Release Date Revealed · · Score: 1

OK it is quite clear now that this will fail hard at that price point. I think they are just trying to get the pieces in place for the next gen where it will be integrated and are pushing this out the door to take the attention off the fact that we are overdue for some next gen hardware talk.

The mere fact that we discuss him and his work 500 years later is the greatest honor. There are times were circus and spectacle are needed, this is not one of them.

I have an aversion to storing it simply because then I need to make sure its sequestered at all times from the rest of the media files i have. There are A LOT of programs that excel at finding every little piece of media on your machine. Cant even zip stuff to do a simple hide, have to rar it or better just so that the OS cant trivially open it.

Files are zipped as a container for all the files. There are also transmission advantages to having a large single contiguous file versus many many small files. Zipping a bunch of files isnt always about making them smaller.

LCD panel with menu system and buttons for limited computer-less operations like backups from flash drives, etc. 20MB/s writes, up to 40MB/s reads, I love it.
