You set it up. I use all those techs to feed video to my family's houses. They all have standard consumer (Apple TV, Fire Tv etc) stuff, and i feed services to them using the basic tools we have been using for DECADES. Stop looking for all in one solutions and build one out of the vast and rich toolset we have. Its not rocket science to set up an HTTP site and throw files on it or put it on an SD card and add it to their itunes library.
I use sneakernet as a catchall for loading data onto physical media and passing it off by hand vs over the wire. I find no references to snakemail, got a link?
Guess what, not all tech needs to be all things to all people. This reminds me of the last few decades of 'PC gaming is dead because consoles are cheap'. The irony is that VR is what is pushing PC way beyond the consoles. The floor for VR is 1440p @ 90 HZ, we should be able to do that with sub-$500 rendering hardware in a few years. Right now a fully capable VR rig including headset and laser tracking is looking to land around $1500. Its only going to get cheaper over time.
Seriously, there are a billion ways to solve this and none of them involves using an 'app'. Take the videos and just straight email them. Set up an FTP server. Setup rsync between two sites, use HTTP, use SCP, use sneakernet (mail SD cards). The point is the tools are all out there waiting for you to pick them up, they simply dont always come in a shiny wrapper called an 'app'.
I know what an NDA means. I didnt say Apple should 'do nothing'. In the end Apple is only hurting customers by pulling the app in this manner. Fight the NDA breech in court like adults.

You don't have to buy a router/AP combo.... I get what you are saying but this is an absolutely trivial problem to solve, separate your router and Wifi AP into discrete devices and tell the FCC to suck it.

In the US, a backup is a backup is a backup. ROMS are LEGAL as long as you own the physical cart. The simple solution is to include a shot of the cart in the video stream and tell Nintendo to pound sand.
Windows key + power is supposed to be the hardware alternative to ctrl+alt+del. Normally i just pull out my $20 logitech k400 out of my laptop bag and start typing...or my lenovo n5901 with dedicated ctrl+alt+del key
Surface does NOT require a keyboard to use in any way. The software keyboard works very well. You don't have to buy that insanely overpriced integrated keyboard. The ONLY thing that keyboard does well is integration. It fails on ALL other fronts.
