    Since it was announced, I have been saying that the share button is a huge waste of a button on the controller itself.

    You arent looking at the low end. I just picked up a very serviceable Windows 8 tablet (with a year of office 365) for $59 (microcenter.com winbook Tw700).

    This exactly. Windows needs to END the Modern program now, its never going to work.

    No an OS with a giant blackbox (Modern) smack dab in the middle of it is not better.....Win 7 is a proper true enterprise OS, Win 8 is not.

    Its still a split personality OS. Can I change the Modern Apps directory without hacking the registry? NO? then its still a cluster fuck with a new coat of paint. I cant have an OS with a giant blackbox in the middle of it.

    Im confused by point #1. Are you saying you cant have an android device without google services? You dont NEED gmail and Chrome, they are easily replaced.

    NO. The APU in the PS4 is by far the most powerful APU ever made, AMD said so themsleves. Not even the 7850k comes close to the PS4s power, not to mention the PS4 is running GDDR5 for OS and GPU with hUMA. The Xbox APU has special SRAM installed. They are NOT identical designs. Close, but not interchangeable.

    Historically, the Xbox binds the optical drive to the motherboard in the software. Its not as simple as you make it seem. On the Xbox One this relationship has been hardened as it was a vector for running unsigned code in the 360s lifecycle. Would be better to omit the drives entirely and go all-digital only.

    Windows 8 can run well on a 16 GB partition and 1 GB of ram with a 1.3 GHZ Bay Trail Atom CPU.....

    The public (via our representatives) leases out spectrum to companies. It doesnt mean the companies own them, only that our representatives have decided that the public is better served by leasing those frequencies than letting them be used for Ham.

    OK this is interesting, i didnt know OSX also had an App store version of RDP. I have been using the one built into OSX as a 'standard' application. Downloading the App store version now. Thanks!

    Perhaps they are test VMs and he wants to see how migration goes before deployment....There are LOTS of reasons to run VMs, not just limited to what you can imagine.

    Almost NO IT dept will roll out a 3rd party shim like that. WE have been saying this since day one regarding this issue. Corporate installs CANT USE classic shell, its off the table for almost everyone.

    Microsoft doesnt do Macs any favors either. There is plenty of blame to go around as to why the network operating system (NOS) as implemented by windows doesnt integrate Macs well. Saying 'macs arent business machines' is like the carpenter blaming his tools. . Macs are easy to integrate, if you keep realistic expectations of how far integration will go.

    The OSX RDP is just ok. I think the native VNC implementation in OSX ScreenSharing is much better.

    WE dont mind querying, search is awesome, but the problem is when you abstract everything away, i have no way of verifying the query. I have to trust you are showing me the right data instead of just letting me see it the traditional way. It IS a second language for us, so much so that we can easily see where the holes are.

    Users secure their cars with insurance.......However if you drive your car to a bad neighborhood leave the keys in it, they arent going to cover your loss if it gets stolen. See where user responsibility comes in?
