    Then they should not be running internet facing machines if they cant afford robust hosting and compatmentalization. This is like saying 'well we cant afford elevators so we will jsut use the stairs for everything.' If you have IT infrastructure, its costs BUCKETS of money to run it, if you cant afford that then you have no business running internet facing services.

    The price of Freedom is eternal vigilance, so is the price of hosting services on the internet. Hell i have to keep a close eye on my personal NAS, i get about 5 attempts to hack every single day. Also DDOS isnt breaking into anyones house, its a million people ringing your doorbell to the point no one else can ring it.

    That is a pretty arbitrary distinction. Steve Jobs said in 2003 'to get back in the PDA business, we would have to get in the the cell phone business'. An iphone is more PDA than cellphone.

    Allowing only business people to sit on these boards means they inevitably ignore the commons in favor of business. We need someone to chair the FCC that understands that internet connectivity should be regulated as a utility and the only way to make more profit is to offer faster service. The bare minimum of service is 1 GB/sec (just like 240v/120v standard electric service). If you cant provide that level of service, you dont get right-of-way. Further, this person needs to re-instate the rules of old where is you transmitted media you couldn't own the media you were transmitting. NO business person is ever going to do that. We need the heads of our nation to represent the people, not represent them with progress through profit.

    There is no LEGAL licensing restriction that prohibits you from building a Hackintosh. Trying to sell hackintoshes is another matter.

    Actually, intel stopped shipping 'stock' fans with the high end chips (Socket 2011). They expect you to buy it separate. They offer their own model for it, but its an addon.

    Bay Trail is growing fast. Amazon hasnt been able to keep the Bay Trail NUCs in stock for months. The Dell Venue 8 is selling so well they stopped offering discounts on it. Atom is ready for some workstation loads now. Hell I've done handbrake conversions on my Bay Trail NUC.

    Every single citizen should be able to donate a LIMITED amount of money politically, and the money can only come from their personal accounts. Corporations should be forbidden to donate to politics at all, with heavy and severe corruption charges for anyone that does it.. If a corporation wants to flex its citizen power, its members can do so directly, but it should not be allowed to focus and amplify.

    That is not what the Second Amendment says, nor was that the intent of its author's. Every citizen has the right to own a gun, what part of 'shall not be infringed' do you not understand? Your 'truth is' statement pretty much is saying 'well i interpret it this way'. The text of teh 2nd is clear, every citizen should be able to own a gun, period. Further, your felon rule is bullshit when felonies are give out like candy. That level of charge is historically reserved for actual true harmful crime, like treason, murder and rape. So your entire argument about felons not being able to own guns is absolutely misguided. The root meaning of the word felony is civil death.

    It amazes me how people don't understand that owning weaponry is a right that NO OTHER CITIZEN is supposed to be able to infringe. Every single adult citizen is supposed to be able to own a weapon, regardless of training or qualification. The only true qualification is to be alive. You, me, your waiter, your drycleaner, EVERYONE.

    The only problem i have had with mine is that the heatsink detached during shipping, but i fixed it with with some thermal paste and super glue.

    You are ignoring heat, power, density and massively increased risk of failure (due to having multiple disks). And yes, the SATA II bus is what is limiting SSD speed, which is why enterprise already has PCIe SSDs.

    Seriously, dont rely on a consumer grade router for this, add a consumer grade managed switch for it. I use a Netgear GS108T. That way your router can keeps its CPU dedicated to encryption and throughput. I'm sure there are some badass routers out there, but this is an easy and relatively cheap add-on that works for sure.
